Despite countless delays, HBO still plans to assemble the Euphoria cast for Season 3.
Euphoria Season 2 concluded in February 2022, but the follow-up chapter has yet to be filmed.
Now, HBO CEO and chairman Casey Bloys is opening up about the teen drama’s future.
In a new interview with Variety, the exec confirmed that the “same core cast” will return for Euphoria Season 3.
Bloys also confirmed the rumors that the series would move on from East Highland by the time the show returns, meaning that high school will be over.
“One of the issues I think that Sam is thinking about is that he doesn’t want to have it in high school anymore,” Bloys shared with Variety.

“The tale of two guys swapped at birth, navigating borrowed lives, gets a modern twist with fresh humor, drama, and plenty of surprises. It’s a Colombian TV classic revamped for today, ready to stir up new feelings and introduce some lovable characters,” said its writer-creator Jörg Hiller.

A year ago, Legendary Entertainment’s remake of the infamous 1978 box office hit Faces of Death (get it Here) went into production in Louisiana, with Barbie Ferreira of the HBO series Euphoria, Dacre Montgomery of Netflix’s Stranger Things, Josie Totah of the recent Saved by the Bell revival, Jermaine Fowler of The Blackening, and singer Charli Xcx making up the cast. We haven’t heard a release date for this one yet, but it did just take a major step forward: it has gotten its rating from the Motion Picture Association ratings board. They have announced that the Faces of Death remake has received an R rating for strong bloody violence and gore, sexual content, nudity, language and drug use.
The first Faces of Death was about a pathologist exploring gruesome ways to die via footage purportedly culled from around the world. In reality, most of the death scenes were staged,...

When Euphoria first aired, it set a new bar for teen dramas. Its cast is a mix of so many different characters with unique story storylines and personal struggles.
Each gave fans a different window into realities or a mirror to connect with.
It discusses addiction, sexual exploration, sexuality, domestic abuse, body image, first loves, heartbreaks, the ups and downs of friendships, and so much more.
The show has been awarded nine Emmys for its first two seasons, which is not an easy feat, and the actors' careers blew up from it.
It was an overnight success and had a magnetic effect on fans.
However, one question has been all the talk since the second season came out in January 2022: When will Season 3 air, or will there even be a third season?
However, there's a follow-up question that can't be ignored. Is it time to give up on Euphoria Season 3?

Sky Ferreira made a surprise cameo at Coachella Saturday when the singer appeared onstage before Kevin Abstract’s set to deliver a cover of Lady A’s “Need You Now.”
Without any official announcement, the leather jacket and sunglasses-clad Ferreira sauntered out onstage to the shock of fans, and promptly debuted her synth-laden (and unfortunately abridged) rendition of the smash single by the country band formerly known as Lady Antebellum.
Just as mysteriously as she emerged, Ferreira departed, leaving the former Brockhampton rapper Abstract to begin has set as planned.

In our Q&a /feature series Tell Me Más, we ask some of our favorite Latine artists to share some inside info about their lives and habits, revealing everything from their most recent read to the songs that get them hyped. This month, we trekked out to Joe's Pub in the historic East Village to see Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Alex Ferreira take the stage and chatted with him about his latest project, fatherhood, and how he's balancing the two.
Alex Ferreira's dressing room at Joe's Pub is small and sparse, without much in the way of personal belongings or even instruments. There's a guitar case to one side, a knapsack nearby on a leather chair, and the singer himself sitting sideways in front of the lighted vanity - his trademark curls falling in front of his face. It's a stripped environment, a fitting one given that later in the evening Ferreira...

A crowd-pleasing film based upon director Tracie Laymon’s experience talking with a stranger online at a low point in her life, Bob Trevino Likes It is a moving story that proves good people do exist in this world. With two wonderful performances by Barbie Ferreira and John Leguizamo––playing two strangers who share the same last name but are otherwise unrelated––the film progresses into a moving yet somewhat predictable affair. And that’s okay. It’s also not just a work of cinematic comfort food, with Ferreira expressing an incredible amount of emotional vulnerability, humor, and at times a youthful naivety in a performance that’s a little more complex than initially meets the eye.
Ferreira plays 25-year-old Lily Trevino, the daughter of Robert (French Stewart), a recent retiree who fancies himself a player in his local trailer park retirement community. He’s a cheap jerk who complains about the cost of dating,...

Free-to-play mobile game Monopoly Go has been a huge success, but it took a marketing spend of $500m to get there.
In an already competitive gaming industry, the mobile space is a particularly dog-eat-dog sector, and for every viral hit, there are dozens of free-to-play titles that quietly come and go.
There is one means of increasing chances of success, though: spending massive sums of money on marketing. As revealed by Gamespot, the free-to-play mobile game Monopoly Go has made over $2bn in revenue in the 10 months since its launch in 2023. By any yardstick, that’s a hugely popular game – particularly given that, for every player who puts money into a game like this, there’ll be many more who don’t.
The developer behind Monopoly Go, Scopely, has revealed just how much money it cost in order to make that success happen: a startling $500m.

Writer-director Tracie Laymon has a lot of Bobs in her life.
First, there was Bob Laymon, her father.
“In 2012, I was looking for my dad,” she says. “He would just feel disrespected for even the most minor infractions, and he’d disappear for a year or two and not talk to me. So I put his name into Facebook and saw this little tiny picture. I friended him and woke up to ‘Bob Laymon likes it.’ I was like, ‘My dad likes something of mine! We’re back! It’s gonna be okay.'”
It wasn’t okay yet. This was a second Bob Laymon.
“It was a stranger in Wichita, Kansas,” Laymon says, “who continued to be more fatherly to me than my dad ever was — he filled the void. He had such access to my heart because of his name. My dad never wrote me happy birthday, but...

The first time Lily (Barbie Ferreira) sits down with a new counselor in Bob Trevino Likes It, we hear only snippets of the backstory she lays out in rambling, rapid-fire detail. Even so, it’s evident it’s a dark one: “Despite what my father says, I’m pretty sure it was not all my fault,” she says of being abandoned by her mother at age four. And it’s made only more heartbreaking by the way she presents it — with the chipper, matter-of-fact cadence of a woman who’s been carrying the pain for so long she’s become totally inured to it.
As Lily wraps up her spiel with a smile, she’s startled to realize the counselor has burst into tears; in the end, Lily has to comfort her about how sad Lily’s own life is. But that counterintuitive mix of tones is Bob Trevino Likes It in a nutshell.

Jacob Elordi knows he can’t pull off playing a high schooler much longer.
The “Priscilla” and “Saltburn” star said during “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon” that to return to the high school halls for “Euphoria” Season 3 would require a bit of VFX magic…or a time jump. The series debuted in June 2019 and has since landed 25 Emmy nominations and nine Emmy wins.

Elordi was referencing David Fincher’s 2008 film “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button,” which won the VFX Oscar for de-aging Brad Pitt as the reverse aging title character.

Sam Levinson is a controversial figure on HBO after a bevy of risqué content that’s featured in his two notable series, Euphoria and his recent collaboration with The Weeknd, The Idol. Both shows deal with intense sexual content, and productions for both have been a hotbed of rumors and claims of toxicity as some cast and crew have allegedly quit. Amy Seimetz was a director on The Idol before she left due to creative differences with Levinson. She alleged that the showrunner wanted to amp up the spicy material and really push the limits of premium television. One production member reportedly stated, “What I signed up for was a dark satire of fame and the fame model in the 21st century…It went from satire to the thing it was satirizing.”

Colman Domingo is defending “Euphoria” against reports claiming that the production of Season 2 was toxic due to lengthy shoots and the alleged mistreatment of actors.
Domingo, who portrays recovering drug addict Ali Muhammad on “Euphoria,” recently told the Independent that he did not have the same experience as the ones stated in these reports — which emerged around the release of the HBO series’ second season in 2022 — and that rumors of onset chaos are overblown.

“I’ve been in this business for 32 years,” he continued. “I know what hard work is.

Lamenting that though the society is getting richer, inequality is also rising, Antonio Ferreira, Director of the Portuguese film ‘A Bela America’, said on Wednesday that as society prospers, there should be less inequality, but it is the other way around.

Lamenting that though the society is getting richer, inequality is also rising, Antonio Ferreira, Director of the Portuguese film ‘A Bela America’, said on Wednesday that as society prospers, there should be less inequality, but it is the other way around.
Ferreira was interacting with delegates and cinema enthusiasts at the 54th International Film Festival of India (Iffi) here following the screening of his film under the ‘Cinema of the World’ category on Wednesday.

Euphoria fans are going to have to wait a little longer for the third season of the teen drama.
HBO chief Casey Bloys said Thursday at a presentation in New York City that the Sam Levinson drama won’t return until 2025. The same news was shared about the return of The Last of Us.
In an August interview with Elle, Levinson described Season 3 as a “film noir” and teased that Zendaya‘s character of a recovering addict would “explore what it means to be an individual with principles in a corrupt world.”
Euphoria is set in the fictional town of East Highland, California, who seek hope while balancing the strains of love, loss, and addiction. The series is based on an Israeli show of the same name created by Ron Leshem and Daphna Levin.
The third season of the series has been delayed and the forthcoming season will inevitably have some major changes.

“Euphoria” Season 3 has been slated for 2025, HBO boss Casey Bloys announced at a press event Thursday morning.
The Sam Levinson series’ title was shown in a sizzle reel that said “Coming in 2025” alongside “The Last of Us” Season 2, “The White Lotus” Season 3 and the “It” prequel series “Welcome to Derry.”
Not much else has been revealed about the upcoming third season of “Euphoria,” except for Levinson teasing in August that he views the next batch of episodes as a “film noir.” The showrunner said that through the eyes of Zendaya’s Rue, he will “explore what it means to be an individual with principles in a corrupt world.”
“Euphoria” stars Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, Maude Apatow, Alexa Demie, Jacob Elordi, Angus Cloud, Barbie Ferreira and Dominic Fike as troubled high schoolers caught up in a world of drugs, love and crime.
Eric Dane, Storm Reid, Colman Domingo, Javon Walton, Austin Abrams and Nika King also star.

It's been well over a year since Euphoria Season 2 finished airing.
Naturally, there are plenty of questions about where the HBO teen drama will go next.
Below, TV Fanatic has rounded up everything there is to know about Euphoria Season 3.
Euphoria Season 3 Renewal Status
HBO officially picked up Euphoria Season 3 in February 2022.
"Sam, Zendaya, and the entire cast and crew of Euphoria have taken season two to extraordinary heights, challenging narrative convention and form, while maintaining its heart," said Francesca Orsi, executive VP HBO Programming.
"We couldn't be more honored to work with this gifted, wildly talented team or more excited to continue our journey with them into season three."
The renewal was a no-brainer. While many shows lose steam between seasons, Euphoria's popularity soared.
At the time of its renewal, HBO revealed it was the premium cabler's second most-watched show behind Game of Thrones.

Well before it even dropped, Netflix's new show "Neon" found itself embroiled in a bit of controversy. After all, how could a show that follows the trials and tribulations of a young reggaetonero on his path to fame allegedly not include Puerto Rican voices in its conception when the island - along with Panama - helped to pioneer the genre and take it to new heights? Well, after a few course corrections and the participation of reggaeton leyenda Daddy Yankee himself, "Neon" is finally available to stream. And while the criticism about the reported lack of Puerto Rican participation was warranted, it doesn't tell the whole story of what the show's trying to achieve in the first place.
You see, "Neon" isn't a story about the perreo born in Puerto Rico. Nor is it a story about the reggae en Español produced by Panama. It is a story about the global,...

On Entourage, the central tension always involved the question of whether Vince was gonna do the movie. Only there was never really any tension, because of course Vince was gonna do the movie — or, if he didn’t, things would in some other way work out just fine for him, E, Turtle, and even Johnny Drama. Yet for a show with no real stakes and only a modest level of humor (especially if you weren’t amused by Ari screaming actionable insults at Lloyd), it ran for eight seasons. And a movie!

Netflix’s official trailer for its upcoming Daddy Yankee-executive produced series “Neon” showed its star, Santi, (Tyler Dean Flores) is no “one-hit-wonder.”
“This is it, we’re moving to Miami,” says Felix (Jordan Mendoza) in the trailer’s opening.
“I’m going to be the biggest Reggaeton star in the world,” Santi chimes in.
And Santi means what he says, as he and his two friends Ness (Emma Ferreira) and Felix set their sights on South Florida to pursue their dreams of putting Santi on the map as a Reggaeton artist in the music industry — even it means preparing for the biggest meeting of their lives inside a gas station bathroom or living in a 2009 Toyota Corolla.
Despite the odds against them, “We have a plan,” says Ness, who acts as Santi’s manager alongside Felix, who serves as Santi’s creative director. Together, the trio is determined to...

Triple-threat star Zendaya might have risen to fame for her work on the Disney Channel, but her acting in the HBO series Euphoria made her an “it girl.” While Zendaya is the primary character in a show full of interesting, detailed portrayals, Euphoria is probably best known for its scandalous plotlines and cutting-edge subject matter. The series has received numerous awards and honors, and recently, following the announcement of an upcoming third season, more fans are hopping on the Euphoria bandwagon than ever before. While little has been confirmed about the third season, what fans do know provides a tantalizing glimpse of what lies ahead.

Johannesburg, Aug 26 (Ians) Donovan Ferreira, who recently got selected in the South African squad for the three-match T20I series against Australia starting on August 30, expressed his excitement and said he was totally surprised to get a call from Proteas coach Rob Walter.
“I didn’t know who was calling me, so I left it. You always dream of playing for your country, and then everything starts running through your head: should you be crying, should you be smiling, jumping for joy, what should you do? You don’t really know,” said Ferreira.
It was one hour before when Ferreira was leaving for the flight to the West Indies to play for the Barbados Royals in the Caribbean Premier League, when Rob Walter again called him regarding his National call-up to which he answered. It nearly caused mayhem!
Ferreira now heads to Durban to begin his preparations for the T20I series against Australia.

Sam Levinson is giving Euphoria fans a little tease on what to expect for the third season of the HBO drama series.
In an interview with Elle, the show’s creator and executive producer described Season 3 as a “film noir” and teased that Zendaya’s character of a recovering addict would “explore what it means to be an individual with principles in a corrupt world.”
Euphoria is a teen drama set in the fictional town of East Highland, California, who seek hope while balancing the strains of love, loss, and addiction. The series is based on an Israeli show of the same name created by Ron Leshem and Daphna Levin.
The third season of the series has been delayed and the forthcoming season will inevitably have some major changes. Angus Cloud, who played the role of Fez, died last month unexpectedly and it’s unclear how the show will handle the loss.

If you thought Euphoria was dark, wait until you see Euphoria Season 3 -- whenever that may be.
In an interview with Elle, series creator Sam Levinson said that fans should expect the upcoming season to be like a "film noir."
Zendaya's Rue will, once again, be front and center.
We'll follow Rue as she "explores what it means to be an individual with principles in a corrupt world."
Zendaya spoke as part of the same interview, which was conducted before the SAG-AFTRA strike.
The actress said she's attracted to challenging roles but feels she can't play Rue's high school years forever.
"From a character perspective, I want to find things that will push me," Zendaya said.
"As I get older, you know, I can't play a teenager for the rest of my life."
Despite Euphoria Season 2 wrapping in February 2022, a premiere date for the third season is still a long way off.

Times Square has little to no redeeming qualities. New York’s tourist hotspot is congested and chaotic — but it’s also an advertising magnet of bright lights and giant visual displays. When Spotify plasters LED billboards across the area promoting new music releases, fans and artists alike flock to the area to catch a glimpse and snap pictures to share on social media. Sky Ferreira fans would love to partake in this kind of fandom activity, but her album releases have been seemingly deadlocked with Capitol Records since her debut record arrived a decade ago.

Harare, July 29 (Ians) Harare Hurricanes captain Robin Uthappa took every one for a ride on a time machine as he played a sublime knock (88 not out) for his side, leading them to a comprehensive 9-wicket win against the Cape Town Samp Army in the Eliminator of the inaugural edition of the Zim Afro T10 at the Harare Sports Club, here on Friday.

Harare, July 26 (Ians) The experienced Robin Uthappa struck an emphatic half-century against the Durban Qalandars, setting his team on the way to a comprehensive 24-run win in what was a high-scoring game in the Zim Afro T10 at the Harare Sports Club.

“God’s timing is always perfect. Happy Father’s Day ” Anthony captioned a sweet black-and-white photo of the newborn, who sports a full head of dark hair. The four-time Grammy winner can be seen in the background of the shot cradling and smiling down at the child, who is grasping Ferreira’s finger while Anthony holds her hand.
This marks the first child together for Anthony, 54, and Ferreira, 24, who tied the knot during an intimate wedding ceremony in Miami, Florida, earlier this year.

Brazil is back.
Brazilian President’s Lula Inácio Lula da Silva’s new government, which took office on Jan. 1, looks set to invest just under $1 billion in 2023 into the country’s audiovisual sector.
It’s one of the biggest upticks in government film and TV aid in history, and comes after Lula predecessor Jair Bolsonaro slowed state aid to a glacial pace. The new financial injection should turn Brazil into the film and TV powerhouse of Latin America.
Brazilian audiovisual secretary Joelma Gonzaga told Variety that regulation of global streaming services operating in Brazil, which foreseeably will introduce quotas for Netflix, Amazon’s Prime Video and other players, is also on Lula’s government agenda.
Possible steamer investment quotas represent “an urgent question that is a priority for the country’s audiovisual industry: Brazil needs to regulate VOD . Platforms must invest in audiovisual production, and Brazil needs to have control of this intellectual property,...

Jordan Blake, the original vocalist for post-hardcore outfit A Skylit Drive, has died.
Blake fronted the band from 2005 to 2007, recording the She Watched the Sky EP before exiting the group due to health reasons.
In 2022, he rejoined other original A Skylit Drive members to play shows celebrating the 15th anniversary of She Watched the Sky under the name Original A.S.D., leading to legal disputes between the current iteration of A Skylit Drive featuring singer Michael Jagmin.
It was the Original A.S.D. contingent that broke the news of Blake’s passing in an Instagram post:
