A Black Mirror styled episode of Doctor Who, except not as dark or disturbing, but with the classic Doctor Who fun.
This was another great entry to this season. Another Doctor Lite episode (sort of). A rare instance where I was hoping the Doctor fails in saving the lives of these rich and privileged snobs.
The social commentary was apt. The youth being too dependent on the literal and metaphorical Bubble that they fail to see the things around them. The sense of entitlement, the pride, the racism, and more that is an inherent characteristic of these people.
On the other hand, like most Dr. Who episodes, this one also had some problems. Whether it's Lindy suddenly learning to walk and run and use stairs, or why the Dot created those bugs if it can kill the people itself.
But it was a fun episode, with an emotional ending that was being built up throughout the episode. Ncuti Gatwa once again showed his talent. This season has been quite consistent in the last three episodes. I hope the remaining ones maintain this quality.
