The Cutting Room (I) (2015)

Garbage; succeeds in literally nothing!
7 July 2015
It's an understanding that most horror films that pop up here, and there nowadays lacking in most needed elements, and that's completely understandable. But when you offer the audience a film of which seems to be given little - to no emphasis what so ever, it becomes frustrating, and even aggravating. This film angers myself, and possibly others that have given this film a chance, as I did.

The acting in this film is an atrocity, something that's extremely hard to put up with. Each - to all actors in this film seem as if they were each collected from the streets, and offered a roll in this movie. It's as if nothing at all was given to execute this movie! As if they had minutes to read they're scripts, leading to trash acting! And to topple that to the ground, there would be no point to begin with, each character is sickly clichéd, and have nothing unique in they're executions at all! Overall, there was absolutely nothing given here! The acting was terrible, and so were the characters, making this entire film hard to stomach.

The idea, and or plot of this movie, as well was terrible. I personally didn't like the way the writers wanted this entire film to play out. From start, to finish this entire film seemed as if it was going absolutely nowhere, and proves itself from the middle, to last portions of this movie. Even when they "tried" to perhaps offer something in this film, they fell flat, and started more trash once again. In conclusion, the plot of this film, tying with the characters was utterly poor, and managed to lead nowhere.

Honestly, I credit most films of what they stand for, but I can't hold back. This movie offered little.. to nothing. I honestly wonder to myself on why I wasted my time, hoping the movie would perhaps turn into something greater - but no. The movie is simply pointless, and frustrating. Please, do not waste your time with this movie. Your better off giving other blind films chances, rather then this. I truly don't want to go any further, or in depth of the atrocious attempts of which this movie displayed, so I'll leave it to the small; tip of the iceberg information above of why this movie should NOT be seen, and or given any chances.

Seen before; But executes flawlessly.
18 May 2015
The premise of this film has been seen before, but dose that mean it's flawed? Or bad? No. "Dark Awakening" shakes up that fact, coming out meaningful, and simplistic, making this an enjoyable film on many levels.

The movie kicks off quite nicely, I like how the movie executes the characters coming together, offering some chemistry. Honestly, though, that said chemistry goes on and off- the characters seem as if they don't belong together in some sequences of the movie. But never the less, the movie overall executes the said motion nicely, and solidly. The story, also, pays off. I personally liked it. I felt as if the plot / story was unique for what it was, giving a nice, refreshing take on the genre of horror. The story also gives the audience a unique sense of terror, and suspense. [ Me at least ] . . adding to its fresh, new take. With that being said, this horror movie takes on a unique take, instead of letting down. The ghost / paranormal execution of the children was great too. I liked it. The makeup / execution filled with a sense of dread, and terror, something other movies tend to actually miss.

In this case. "Dark Awakening" was a unique take, it had a plot seen before, with common clichés. But fortunately, the movie refreshes, giving the audience more then what they bargained for. It also has good, solid visual effects, along with a scary atmosphere that hits the audience head-on. I'd recommend it to horror fans when it hits theaters.

[ For a personal record, I'm not the biggest fan of horror, this was a pleasure for a 2015 horror flick. I liked it. ]

Tomorrowland (2015)

An absolutely amazing film audiences need to see to believe . .
18 May 2015
Disney strikes again, in this amazing, inspiring adventure into the depths of creativity. This time, Disney takes on a bit of a more mature - like take in "Tomorrowland" giving it it's amazing sense of humor, as well as lines the entire family will laugh too.

The story of this film was truly unique. It fells the tail of two unlikely characters that come together, bonding in some truly amazing character connection, and chemistry against a group of cyborgs that refuse to allow them into the hidden land, only available for those who connect the clues, and figure the secrets of Tomorrowland. It's a story that executes amazingly, sending the audience on an amazing thrill ride of entertainment, action, comedy; as well as a ride of conflicted feelings that proves to not fail. In this case, audiences all around, no matter what age will enjoy the pleasantly unique story, as well as the characters. All characters combine amazingly, creating amazing chemistry, as well as acting. The film, here, also possesses an amazing sense of style. It has many, many visual effects that will fill the audience with a sense of adventure, and inspiration. It also widens the eyes of audiences everywhere with it's complex - like story that explains itself through out the film, opening some mysteries, and twists that'll guarantee to brighten up anyone who watches this.

In conclusion for this little review, "Tomorrowland" is a truly meaningful film that had depth. It also possesses true adventure, and inspiration. It's an amazing ride for anyone, no matter the age, as the film also possesses some mature humor. It also has a truly unique sense of style from visual effects, character development, plot, and story. Making this a truly nice film that I had the pleasure of seeing early. I truly recommend this to anyone. You won't be disappointed!
