Light as a Feather (2018)
Binge worthy Kitschy fun
Think Final Destination, Scream, Pretty Little Liars, and Carrie blended into a unique supernatural teen horror series. The series uses secrets, murder, magic, psychopaths, and romance as it's basis. I loved the Carrie throwback in the first episode. This has all the hallmarks of a great show for the teen demographic. Overall, a fun and promising series of a book brought to life by Hulu. Also, very binge worthy!
Light as a Feather: ...Stiff as a Board (2018)
Kitschy and fun
Think Final Destination, Scream, Pretty Little Liars, and Carrie blended into a unique supernatural teen horror series. I loved the Carrie throwback in this episode. Overall, a fun and promising start to a book brought to life by Hulu.
Charmed: Pilot (2018)
More political than supernatural
I loved Charmed so despite the negative buzz, I tuned in for this. I was grossly disappointed. The entire first episode did nothing but push a political agenda. Some shows that is expected, but this is a supernatural show about sister witches. They took every non-show related pop culture topic and made them the prominent plot line. I was excited for the magic, the sisters, and witches. That's not what I got.
Forever My Girl (2018)
Loved the book and the movie!
Huge fan of the book and found this movie to be a great adaptation. The cast did a great job and the storyline was done on par with the book. This was one of the first indie romance books I ever read on my tablet and it brings me so much happiness to see this gem get the credit it deserves. Ten glittery stars! Must watch romance, perfect for fans of Nicholas Sparks!
Drink Slay Love (2017)
Fun
This was a fun movie and I felt it was true to the book. No complaints overall. Teenage vampire romance movie based on a young adult book. Recommend!
Sea Change (2017)
Strong start but weak finish
I read the book first and really hoped for a sequel but it never happened. So when I saw the movie I was excited and hoped we'd get the ending that was missing. Alas, while I enjoyed the movie, it ended just as abruptly as the book and I still have no clue what's happening at this point. Ultimately worth watching but be prepared to have questions about the ending.
