A trip inside your head.
8 February 2023
I streamed this movie on TV. To be honest, the thing that attracted me to the movie was the fact that Joshua Rush was in it. Joshua is one of my favorite actors, especially his work as a child actor. The movie examines life and death and family dynamics in a meaningful way. I felt like Rush was the central character. He really stood out in every scene. And don't be confused by the date. Rush was only 12 when the movie was filmed in 2014. But it wasn't released until 2021. It sat on a shelf for 7 years denying us the ability to enjoy it. But enjoy it I did. The plots and sub-plots may make you a little dizzy, but stick with it. It will be worth it. And thank you Joshua Rush for once again showing what a great actor you are.

The Edison Twins (1982–1986)

Perfect family series that is fun to watch anytime.
7 July 2022
I can remember back in the 1980s I watched this show on Cable TV. And then it somehow disappeared. Ever since then I have had a craving to see it again. The show was about two teenagers who were really into science and they used their skills to solve mysteries. I really missed the show. Then I got a Roku streaming device and when I found this series I literally screamed with joy. I watch an episode every morning with my coffee. It's as good as I remember, plus I get to see my favorite character, Paul Edison played by the cutest child actor of all time Sunny Besen-Thrasher. I still love him after all these years. Sure wish I could tell him how much I loved seeing him in the show. If this was on DVD I would buy it in a second. I'm so happy I got a Roku streaming device. Everyone should have one.

Oliver's Ghost (2011 TV Movie)
10/10
A Great Family Film
22 October 2011
In the Hallmark Channel film "Oliver's Ghost", eleven-year-old Oliver (Nicholas Stargel) is the youngest of the family of four who have just moved in to their new home. They have been wondering why the previous owner left in such a hurry. Well, watch the film and you'll find out--just as they did. This is a great family film which focuses on the need for family members to listen to one another and to help one another. It is not a movie that will be frightening to young children. Martin Mull plays the role of the ghost (referred to in the title). He does a great job in this dramatic role as does the adorable Nicholas Stargel in the leading role as Oliver. Also, watch for Rhea Perlman in a fine dramatic role. I hope this movie will be released on DVD as there is a real market for good family films like this. This movie is well-cast and well-acted and I would recommend it highly for anyone of any age.

Bored Silly (2000)

Just a really fun movie
29 November 2010
I can't remember when I've had so much fun watching a movie. This movie is about 3 young boys who have just gotten out of school for the summer and can't think of anything to do. So, they proceed to get into various types of mischief. But it's all in fun and it's fun to watch. The 3 boys who play the leading roles did such a remarkable job. I thought they were fantastic. Some reviews have complained about too much screaming in this movie. I don't agree. I mean, after all, what's a kid's movie without a few screams? The supporting cast in the movie stayed mostly in the background. The 3 leads were almost always out front. But that's what made the movie good. It was about the 3 boys and their quest for adventure without adults telling them what to do. They just wanted to have fun. This movie is not hard to find. I bought the DVD on-line. I recommend it for children (especially boys) as well as for adults. So watch it and be energized.
