Totally Baked (2007)
Persuasive in a comedic way
This movie was interestingly entertaining. It attempts to change the status-quo view on marijuana by persuading the uninformed in a comedic fashion that marijuana is not as dangerous as the media, critics, and skeptics say it is. In the latter of the movie, the culprit (marijuana activist/user) might be seen as a hero. Simultaneously, this piece of media is a documentary and a movie. Part of the movie is stand up comedy whereas the other part is the actual doc u-movie. The movie jumps back and forth between movie and stand up comedy. Overall, id check this piece of media out if you are a marijuana activist, user, or patient.
The Last Hit Man (2008)
check it out, its worth it
I enjoyed most of the movie. What I do, but at the same time, do not understand is why the family let "you know who" into their family. I suppose Mantegna could have handled the situation differently, perhaps holding "you know who" hostage. This struck me as odd. But, again, it is a movie. Do not expect anything great. The actors play their roles well, especially Joe Mantegna. There are some "so-so" acting scenes but overall, a job well done. It is the plot that will keep the viewer interested through out the entire movie, not the acting. But like I said, the acting is definitely worth the viewers time. Of course, we have all seen horrible movies that make it to the theaters on a national scale, but, this movie, by no means is horrible. It keeps the viewer guessing, and with a sufficient amount of action, there really is no reason to bash this title!
Revolver (2005)
beyond limits!
This movie went beyond limitations. I commend Guy Ritchie for his ability and knack to create such intriguing movies. Well done. A+ in my books. Not surprisingly, Ritchie had me conned throughout the entire movie! Again well done, I received what I expected. Superb. This movie will make you think! I want to keep typing only because I have read so many negative reviews about this movie. Perhaps the negative comments are from the fooled, in reality that is!! Again, well done!! If you enjoyed Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels, you will LOVE Ritchie's "Revolver." Forgive me for my grammar mistakes for I am not an English teacher. Both Ray Liotta and Jason Statham play their roles flawlessly. Check this movie out, do not hesitate!!!
