Excellent Film!!
23 October 2008
This was an excellent film!! It captures the rough times, drug wars and territorial beef in inner city urban neighborhoods and was displayed enthusiastically. The actors put on great convincing performances. All pictures, lighting and sound qualities were excellent for it to be an Indy film. Much props to the entire crew. Excellent job from the writer/director from Trenton, NJ Patrick Pierre. As well as Adrianna Gittens, co-writer. She did a fantastic job with the female characters. Pierre Films will definitely be back with more drama and more excitement in the near future. Look forward to seeing more from Pierre and Gittens, together and/or separate. These filmmakers will be making a lot of noise in the coming years.

Excellent!!
12 September 2006
I attended the showing of Aaron Loves Angela at the International House with my woman back in February. And while I was there I purchased the Manifesto, which includes each movie Michael Dennis have produced and/or directed. I must have watched this movie (Next Tuesday) two or three times before removing the DVD from the player. Its realistic and very inspirational. As an aspiring actor and an amateur screenwriter from Philadelphia, I must say that this film sets precedence for younger writers like me. I would recommend this film as a must see. I have not had the time to attend anything recent due to a busy schedule filming, but Reelblack has great screenings and events. I am looking forward to more films from Michael J. Dennis in the future. I'm sure he's cooking up something. A feature length film maybe?

Bittersweet Innocence (2005 Video)

Excellent!!
7 August 2006
Warning: Spoilers
This film was great as it touched on interracial relationships in the youth. The father did not approve of his daughter dating an African American male, but in the end, after losing his daughter to a chronic illness that rapidly took over Ashley's life, he realized that the two did care for each other and it was not just a puppy love stage. I recommend this film as a must see. Great job to all the actors, cast and crew members.

You must follow this Director, Troy Nixon. His plot and stories only get better. My sources say that the sequel, Still Bittersweet is currently filming and is positively a great movie.

Respectfully, Keyon "Nadeem" Smith
