and he was still tilting at windmills...great movie of a modern archetypal secular saint..highly recommend this B-production made for TV. Ben is almost a Christological study in altruism.

Havana stands on its own, but the tension evolving from the eternal triangle of love harks back to the beloved Casablanca. Donna's first review was right on the money. Despite some flaws the movie evolves to a wrenching climax...the diamond...the butterfly wings to a hurricane...Redford's gaze at the shoreline. Here's looking at Havana, kid.
