Well, if you enjoyed the 2016 movie "Hurricane Bianca", then chances are quite good that you will like this 2018 movie "Hurricane Bianca: From Russia with Hate" as well.
Why? Well, because they were essentially about the same level of entertainment and enjoyment. I found the 2016 movie to be watchable, but not outstanding, and I feel the same about the 2018 movie as well. Sure, "Hurricane Bianca: From Russia with Hate" was enjoyable enough for what it turned out to be.
I will say, however, that this 2018 movie had some more likeable characters in it, which definitely was a step up.
For a comedy, then "Hurricane Bianca: From Russia with Hate" wasn't really the type of movie that brought laughs to my lips. Sure, there was a smile here and there, and some of the practical jokes or spoken lines worked out well enough. But this is not a movie that will have you bursting with tears from laughing.
The movie does take a less-than-subtle jab at the political views on gays, lesbians and transsexuals that are present in Russia, for better or worse. It might be a bit corny, but it actually served the storyline well enough, especially because director Matt Kugelman didn't seem to mind taking the movie in that direction.
All in all, "Hurricane Bianca: From Russia with Hate" was watchable and enjoyable enough for what it turned out to be. However, this is not a gem in the history of cinema. I was moderately entertained, and as such I am rating the movie a 5 out of 10 stars.
