In the latest episode of BFFs with Vogue, Neha Dhupia asked the two buddies, Khurrana & Pednekar to introduce each other in the true BFFs style. Keeping it all fun and gags, Ayushmann said that Bhumi has been and still is a ‘heavy-weight’ actor. The latest episode of BFFs with Vogue Season 2 featured Juhi Chawla and her Bff Jackie Shroff. During the show in a segment called Scary Spice, host Neha Dhupia questioned Juhi about spilling some beans from her past wherein she asked about Juhi’s most bitter-rival. Obviously knowing the sweet-natured actress, she was quite hesitant about answering this one. Hence, Dhupia decided to tone it a little further. She later changed the word ‘bitter rivalry’ to ‘healthy competition’. After the change, Juhi smiled and quipped ‘Madhuri Dixit’. Well, this answer definitely deserves an award for its honesty!

What distinguishes true love and close friendship? Can you simply choose to be attracted to your best friend? And does sex ruin everything? These are just some of the interesting questions implicit in the lighthearted, indie film festival hit BFFs. While the movie does not pretend to extend long-lasting answers to these quandaries, it genuinely entertains with its fresh approach to the traditional best-friends, rom-com formula: two friends—two straight, female friends—who may not realize they are attracted to each other.
The story follows two forty-somethings, Kat and Samantha, who pose as lovers at a couples’ therapy retreat in Southern California. Kat’s latest relationship foible leads her mother (played by her real-life mother, comedian Pat Carroll), after a series of judgmental and belittling comments, to suggest a weekend away to repair the relationship between Kat and her ex-boyfriend. In a drunken-stupor, however, Samantha convinces Kat that it would...

From Left to Right Tara Karsian and Andrea Grano
A few days ago I had the chance to talk to Tara Karsian and Andrea Grano about their upcoming film BFFs, which is out today on iTunes, Amazon, Brighthouse, Comcast Xfinity, Cox, and Time Warner.
The film two straight friends who go into couples therapy, they're so convincing that even they start to question their relationship.
Here is what Tara Karsian and Andrea Grano had to say about the film, which they both wrote and star in.
Tara, the question for you, Pat Carroll is your mom, correct? She's in the movie. What is it like working with your mother on onfilm, and would you do it again?
Tara Karsian: Never again. No I'm kidding, it was wonderful and we have never gotten to do that. The back story is that Andrea actually wrote her in, I did not, so it's only Andrea's fault.

Written by stars Tara Karsian and Andrea Grano and directed by Andrew Putschoegl, "BFFs" is a warm, winning female buddy comedy that turns the genre on its head in gently surprising ways. Its subversive story turns on Kat (Karsian) and Samantha (Grano), the titular best buddies whose middling ruts find them pretending to be lovers to land a spot at a poolside couple's retreat. The retreat is ridiculously called "Closer to Closeness" -- exactly the kind of thing most discerning couples looking to rebuild themselves should avoid, right? By the end of this weekend of relationship boot-camp, these eccentric BFFs are entangled in unexpected ways -- from befriending their fellow, and rather vanilla, couples in crisis (both straight and gay), to wondering if there may actually be some chemical fizzle between them. The film has wended its ways along the festival circuit -- and down the California coast -- from Santa Barbara to Newport Beach.

With a penchant for hats and a wry smile, Larisa Oleynik squinted and pointed her way into the hearts of kids growing up in the 90s as the titular character on Nickelodeon's "The Secret World of Alex Mack."
The series, created by Thomas W. Lynch and Ken Lipman, ran from 1994-1998 on Nickelodeon and was a cornerstone of the network's Snick block of kid programming.
"It's funny because for a period of time it was very uncool to be Alex Mack, and so I'm glad that it's like cool and retro," Oleynik said with a laugh. "It's come back around ... I still get people asking me to turn into a puddle. It's kind of funny and cute ... I think [the powers] were, for me, more of a metaphor for all the weird changes you go through in that time in your life."
