When Hardison takes a picture of the license plate of the truck that Javier is driving across the border, the plate read "QNS 1027". "QNS" is a transliteration of "quien es", a phrase that, in Spanish, means "who is?" "1027" is a nod to the police code "10-27" which is the code for a request for driver's license information. Put together, the plate seems to mean "who is driving this truck?" The answer, of course, is Javier, who is using stolen identity documents and pretending to be someone else.
This episode has a danger event similar to one in Mr. Monk vs. the Cobra (2005) That episode cast included Mark Sheppard, our favorite good guy to dislike, as a character named Chris Downey, the name of one of the creators of Leverage. Small world.
One of the identity document forms bears the name of Denius Garcia, from Bellbridge, Massachuesetts. Aaron Denius Garcia is one of the show's writers, and Bellbridge is the fictional city where the team took down a corrupt mayor in season 2.
