NCIS has graced our television screens for the last 20 years. The show first premiered in 2003, and it followed Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs as he and his team, Naval Criminal Investigative Services, solved high-profile crimes connected to the Navy or Marines. Now, 20 years later, where is the season 1 cast today?

Mark Harmon was the NCIS lead, playing Leroy Jethro Gibbs. Harmon worked his way up the ranks on the show’s back end, eventually becoming its executive producer in 2008, just five years after it started. Harmon left the show, though, during its 19th season in 2021.
These days, nobody is aware of Harmon’s next move except him. The Hollywood Reporter revealed that he signed with a new production agency, so it seems that he’s still interested in acting. But he has racked up a $120 million...

A new year has finally arrived and HBO Max is set to open it with a bang. With its list of new releases for January 2022, HBO Max is rolling out some intriguing original series and an absolutely packed slate of library titles.
The real highlight this month comes on Jan. 13 with the release of Peacemaker. Developed by James Gunn, this series spins off John Cena’s titular character from last years’ The Suicide Squad. The show will delve into the pathology of a superhero who will achieve peace regardless of how many people need to be killed to attain it.
Also of note this month are second seasons for two major HBO series. Euphoria season 2 and The Righteous Gemstones season 2 both premiere on Jan. 9, making for quite the odd double feature. Meanwhile, the fifth and final season of superb comedy Search Party arrives on Jan. 7.
January 2022 is light as far as original movies go.

The Premium VOD debut of United Artists’ “Bill & Ted Face the Music” topped charts from the moment it debuted August 28. As a mid-budget title that’s thriving at $19.99, it could be as important as “Tenet” in determining the shape of movie distribution. “Bill & Ted” didn’t see much theatrical play, but given its day-and-date debut it also didn’t have the option. About 1,000 independent theaters did play the title, where by our estimate it grossed around $1.1 million, or around $1,000 per theater.
That’s not a lot, but it’s better than Searchlight’s theater-only flop “The Personal History of David Copperfield.” Based on those two performances, UA made the right move: Searchlight devoted marketing spend to a disappointheatrical release that now must wait until November before it can play VOD.
“Bill & Ted” was first on all three possible charts. “Fatima” (Picturehouse), the other new PVOD entry, appeared on two.

It seems every decade, DC and Marvel each introduce a major threat that captures the readership’s imagination. In the 1980s, for DC that was Deathstroke, a wonderfully complex opponent to the New Teen Titans, reaching a high point with the much-lauded “The Judas Contract” storyline in 1985. In the hands of writer Marv Wolfman and artist George Pérez, he rose head and shoulders above most other super-villains of the day.
Since then, he has been used by virtually every writer, pitting him against most every mask and cape in the DC Universe. He’s successfully crossed over to animation and even live-action television and film. As a result, depending on the creators involved, he remains a fascinating, deadly threat or a run of the mill villain used to merely show up the hero.
The most recent such example is the CW Seed animated miniseries, Deathstroke: Knights & Dragons, which is...

Slade Wilson has a complicated family life. He’s the premier assassin in the DC Universe, with super powers and a big beefy sword and a butler with wit sharper than Slade’s sword. He’s would seem to be the ideal Batman foil, but instead he’s the primary villain of the Teen Titans, and especially Robins in all their varying incarnations. And most of that rivalry comes from Slade’s dysfunctional family, which you can get a glimpse of in this exclusive clip from the upcoming DC animated feature, Deathstroke: Knights and Dragons.
The movie looks to be a little bit about Deathstroke’s origin story, and a lot about his messed up relationship with Adeline, his ex-wife; and his kids, Grant, Rose and Joseph. By their superhero names, the kids are Ravager, Ravager, and Jericho.
This clip pits Rose, in full H.I.V.E. armor and in the H.

To celebrate the release of Deathstroke: Knights & Dragons on digital download on August 4th and DVD & Blu-Ray on August 17th, we wanted to let you know a little more about one of DC’s lesser known characters. Having appeared in comic books and TV series before, Deathstroke (Aka Slade Wilson) now appears front and centre in this new DC Animation, giving us a chance to see him in all his glory. Here are all the reasons we think he’s pretty awesome!
An Indestructible Soldier
One of the most extraordinary dimensions of Deathstroke are his remarkable abilities, which were given to him after he was chosen for a secret experiment where the army hoped to transform him into a super-soldier. During the operation, the army imbued him with adrenaline serums, to enhance his brain activity. This left him with an incredible range of powers, notably accelerated healing meaning he...

Slade Wilson is coming off of the best run of comic stories in the character’s history, and now he’s getting some space in the DC Animated Movie line to shine. Deathstroke: Knights & Dragons was announced as the latest entry in the feature series, with a release date of August 4th, 2020.
Deathstroke was created by Marv Wolfman and George Perez in 1980 as a major antagonist for the Teen Titans, and he eventually evolved into the top assassin in the DC universe. He touches a variety of spheres of characters – the sidekicks, through his Teen Titans connections (and his children); the broad Dcu through his supervillain connections; the martial artists, through his mercenary connections; and the Batman family, through both is personal antagonism for various Robins and through Ra’s al Ghul’s assassins.

Now in its second season, Titans has gradually built a reputation as one of the stronger DC television adaptations of recent years, and will likely survive any future changes to DC Universe and the possible transfer of shows to HBO Max. Not only that, but our sources – the same ones who gave us the scoop on that Green Lantern series before it was announced – are now telling us that Titans will be getting a Deathstroke spinoff, focusing on Esai Morales’ version of the character. Although it hasn’t been officially greenlit, the show is in early development and, from what we’ve heard, very likely to go ahead.
Morales’ Deathstroke, otherwise known as Slade Wilson, has been the chief antagonist of Titans‘ second season, with recent episodes fleshing out the assassin’s past conflict with Dick Grayson’s team. Furthermore, we’ve seen Wilson’s children Jericho and Rose, and in the most recent episode,...
