Did you know
- TriviaIronically, for an episode about one of the characters being frightened of flying (Susan Lewis), Director Christopher Chulack refused to go up in the helicopter as he's terrified of them. Conversely, Sherry Stringfield thoroughly enjoyed her trip up in the chopper.
- GoofsThere is a bad edit at 2:30 during the diner scene with Doug, Carol, and Carol's lab partner William. From one angle Carol is unmoving holding her chin in her hand, while briefly from another angle she moves her hands down and turns to talk to Doug before the previous pose resumes.

Rewatching
I recently started rewatching ER on MAX. I religiously watched this show when it was on tv 30 years ago (wow do I feel old).
I remember being exceedingly annoyed by the irritatingly narcissistic, egotistical Dr. Benton. Do you want your surgeon to be arrogant...yes. Do you want them to be so overwhelmingly arrogant that they can never admit when they're wrong, unwilling to see any of their own faults (only the faults in others) so full of themselves they think they already know everything and can't be taught...absolutely no! I have been annoyed here and there with almost every cast member. The only character I absolutely cannot stand 97% of the time is Dr. Benton. Just when I start to think he's getting a little better, a little more humble, he outdoes himself. This time he's outdone himself and almost killed a 10 day old infant.
I don't remember if Dr. Benton gets any better but really hope so.
