Sex & Nudity

  • The episode opens with a man showering. A woman joins him in the shower, briefly putting her arms around him and kissing him. She then turns around and the man shampoos her hair while they talk. Only their bare shoulders are seen clearly. The man's torso can be very briefly seen as the woman enters the shower, as well as just the top of the woman's clevage.
  • Doug and Mark go to Doug's apartment. A naked woman (the flight attendant Doug met a few episodes ago) steps into the frame. The low angle means that only her legs and feet can be seen. The camera pans up her body, meaning the side of her bare buttocks can just be seen, as well as her bare back and shoulders. It is very clear she is naked but nothing explicit is shown. When the camera shows her from the front, it is a close up of her face and shoulders. Doug eyes her up as he talks to her, but Mark is clearly trying to avert his eyes.

Violence & Gore

  • Carter is performing a procedure where he is collecting fluid from a patient's spine, when he pushes the needle too far into the patient's back, causing blood to spurt out into the fluid bag, and continue to leak there as the patient yells in pain. The patient has to go to surgery (in which nothing very graphic can be seen, except when blood briefly squirts out onto one of the surgeons), but the patient ends up dying from heart failure.
