- Quotes
Phoebe Halliwell: Yep. Look, I hope you don't take this the wrong way, but why are you here... with me now?
Clay: Why? Can't a guy visit?
Phoebe Halliwell: Yeah, but you're not just a guy. You're Clay, and Clay comes with strings attached.
Clay: I never could hide anything from you.
Phoebe Halliwell: Actually you could. That was one of our problems. Remember?
Clay: I picked up this urn at a overseas market. Thought it might be worth something.
Phoebe Halliwell: So you want me to get Prue to help you. Because of the Auction House.
Clay: Guilty.
Phoebe Halliwell: Whew. For a minute there, I thought you were here to win me back.
- ConnectionsReferences The Wizard of Oz (1939)
Doug the waiter is fleshed out more with a sweet twist in his arch and offers a few chuckles along the way. Victor Browne (Clay) is sexy, dangerous and a good guy to boot making him a perfect match. Phoebe shows good judgment and how much faith she has in humanity by her actions instead of assuming the worse right off.
Another aspect to enjoy is the rich costuming with the Guardian and her mannerisms really sell the mystic nature of her character. Still it seems a little out there for this show never really exploring her past or what kinda creature she is. Plus it was slow, no real meat to keep you tuned and feels like forever until you reach the credits.
Not my favorite, but it really showed Alyssa Milano's acting chops and made her my favorite character. It was enduring and does raise an important question on who deserves to be saved or not.
