Chad Michael Murray is opening up about his private struggles with anxiety at the height of fame.
In the 2000s, Murray starred in Gilmore Girls and One Tree Hill and played the romantic lead in A Cinderella Story and the Lindsay Lohan-, Jamie Lee Curtis-starrer Freaky Friday. In a new The Cut profile, the actor shared that, at the time, he was “far more fragile than I ever put on.”
“Everyone starts telling you ‘Yes’,” he said. “But I was walking around with a really pained heart.”
He recalled a moment when he was 23 years old, during which he had an event in Miami but couldn’t leave his hotel room. “The world felt like it was closing in; I was having anxiety attacks,” he explained in what The Cut says was the beginning of Murray’s experience with agoraphobia, or a fear of being in a place...

Chad Michael Murray cemented himself as an early 2000s dreamboat with roles in A Cinderella Story, One Tree Hill, Freaky Friday and more. Now, as a father of three, the actor says his kids are one of his biggest considerations when choosing new roles.
The Mother of the Bride star sat down with Numéro Netherlands ahead of the release of the Netflix movie and discussed his decades-long career, future projects and how he always puts his family first.
“I would say, a lot of material, especially over the past five to eight years since my son was born, I choose because I think one of the last things you really want is for your kids to be berated in school for what their parents are doing,” Murray told the publication. “I don’t want my kids going to school, being freshmen in high school, and Dad’s butt posted all over their locker.

Chad Michael Murray has a goal when choosing his projects.
“I don’t want my kids going to school, being freshmen in high school, and Dad’s butt posted all over their locker,” he said in a recent Numero interview. “That’s not fair to them, so making decisions for that has been great.”
Murray, who began his career in TV with appearances on One Tree Hill, Gilmore Girls, Dawson’s Creek and Riverdale, moved on to such films as A Cinderella Story, Freaky Friday, and Fruitvale Station. He then starred in Chosen, Sun Records and Sullivan’s Crossing before circling back to TV on the Marvel-abc series Agent Carter and a recurring role in Fox’s Star.
Becoming a father to an 8-year-old son, a 6-year-old daughter, and a months-old daughter he welcomed last August with wife Sarah Roemer has changed his outlook, he said.

Drew Barrymore went in a different direction in the ’90s, as the long-time star has now confirmed that she once opted to play Cinderella instead of a porn star. The actress recently shared on an episode of her eponymous talk show “The Drew Barrymore Show” (via The Hollywood Reporter) that she did in fact turn down a role in “Boogie Nights.” Barrymore has long been rumored to have been considered for the Rollergirl part, which later went to Heather Graham.
“It’s so hard when you, like, are thinking of doing a film and then you don’t end up doing it,” Barrymore said. “I have so many of those experiences. I’ve never said this out loud, ‘Boogie Nights.’ There was a moment where we were talking about ‘Boogie Nights’ and I think it’s when I went and did ‘Ever After’ [‘A Cinderella Story’] and I went in a very different direction.

Call it what you want, but Taylor Swift has extended her pop culture dominance into 2024 in a big way. Her attendance at the AFC Championship playoff game Sunday combined with the Kansas City Chiefs’ victory and path to the Super Bowl has sparked several Swiftie investigations into all of the coincidental Easter eggs, creating a whole new code for the big game.
From the sheer amount of hidden 13s present in all the facts about the 58th Super Bowl to the way Swift has coded colors to go along with her extensive catalog, the Swiftie conspiracy theories are endless.
Late-night host Stephen Colbert and other social media personalities recounted all of the math involved in the various sets of numbers relevant to Super Bowl Lviii:
Lviii = 58, 5+8 = 13 The Kansas City Chiefs will play the San Francisco 49ers, 4+9 = 13 The big game is on February 11, or 2/11, and, you guessed it, 2+11 = 13 The Super Bowl...

It’s a lean month for new original content on HBO/Max. November will see the return of two scripted series in Julia and Rap Sh!t, both of which are debuting their respective second seasons, but this month’s fresh highlight is likely to be Bookie, a new comedy series from the partnership of The Big Bang Theory creator Chuck Lorre, and Nick Bakay. The show tracks an LA bookie called Danny (Sebastian Maniscalco), whose business is in peril as California movies to legalize sports gambling.
Elsewhere in November, there quite a few interesting documentaries to keep an eye on, and two that jump out as “must watch”. The first is Albert Brooks: Defending My Life, which chronicles the aging comedian’s life and career. The second is the previously-released Little Richard: I Am Everything, which tries to peel back the whitewashed canon of Richard Penniman in a true...

Hollywood star Jennifer Coolidge says she makes “a lot of mistakes” in life. The actress found fame when she was cast as Stifler’s Mom in the 1999 coming-of-age comedy ‘American Pie’ before going on to star opposite Reese Witherspoon in ‘Legally Blonde’ and alongside Hilary Duff in ‘A Cinderella Story’ but started to ‘pursue guys’ rather than drive her career forward at that time, reports aceshowbiz.com.

Both in their mid-thirties, Hilary Duff and Josh Peck are learning how to balance their acting careers with parenthood. However, just two decades ago, the pair were both trying to navigate their complex lives as young actors. While their lives share many parallels, Peck has made it clear that he and Duff are very different kinds of child stars for one specific reason.
Josh Peck and Hilary Duff had different experiences as child stars
In the early 2000s, Josh Peck and Hilary Duff were teens thrust into stardom. While the two were both child actors in the late 1990s, they both were able to rise to prominence after landing leading roles on hit kid’s sitcoms. For Peck, his big break came after landing a starring role on the Nickelodeon teen sitcom Drake & Josh. Peck portrayed the lovable Josh Nichols, from 2004 to 2007, alongside his on-screen step-brother Drake Parker, played by Drake Bell.

These days, Duff is still a hardworking actor. Her new series, How I Met Your Father, has earned critical acclaim. While she has always been popular, she hasn’t always received support. Winner of an Emmy, Critics Choice Award, a Golden Globe and now a Pudding Pot, is there anything Jennifer Coolidge can’t do?
On February 4, 2023, Coolidge will lead a parade through Harvard Square before settling down for a roast in her honor by the Hasty Pudding Theatricals. Then Coolidge will be presented with her very own Pudding Pot, after which there will be a press conference. Following all of that will be the opening night of the production “Cosmic Relief.”
The Hasty Pudding Club was founded in 1795 in a rebellion against Harvard’s poor meals offered to students. The club changed throughout the years, such as in 1801 when the rules stated there must be two roasts of members at each meeting, in 1844 with the birth of the Hasty Pudding Theatricals, in 1889 with the first production of “Cosmic Relief” and in 1951 with the creation of the Woman of the Year award.

Rupert Grint has said that it became “suffocating” starring in the Harry Potter film franchise.
The actor, 34, played Harry’s friend Ron Weasley in the eight fantasy films between 2001 and 2011.
Speaking to Bustle, Grint said: “Potter was so full on — [filming] all year, then we’d promote the rest of the time. It was quite suffocating.
“I wanted a break, to reflect on everything... It was an out-of-body experience for a while, but I think we finished at the right time. If we continued, it could’ve gone downhill.”
The actor also described how the lines between his off-screen persona and Ron began to “blur” as the franchise progressed.
“I was feeling the difficulty of being seen, being overshadowed,” he said. “In the movies, we merged into one. By the end of it, I was playing myself. The lines were blurred.

Jennifer Coolidge has shared her reaction to Chloe Fineman’s impersonation of her on Saturday Night Live last weekend (17 December).
The White Lotus actor thanked Fineman for her “hilarious” impression and called the comedian an “exceptionally brilliant impressionist” in an Instagram post.
In the skit, titled “Jennifer Coolidge is Impressed by Christmas Stuff”, Fineman dons a gold-sequinned dress and blonde wig, completing the transformation into Coolidge with her instantly recognisable accent.
“Look at this, a big sock full of gifts,” Fineman says as Coolidge, while holding a stocking in front of a Christmas tree.
“The ultimate stocking stuffer…” she says, pausing before adding: “is a foot”.
Later, she can be seen lying atop a white piano while a pianist plays “Jingle Bells”.
“Wow, this is really good, did you write this song?” Fineman asks while pouting and squinting her eyes in true Coolidge fashion.

Jennifer Coolidge is a testament to what great talent, confidence, charisma, and wit can bring to the table in Hollywood. The entertainment industry has a long, tired history of misogyny and mistreatment of women, particularly older actresses, but Coolidge has defied the odds by continuing to shine into her 50s and 60s. Coolidge’s immense comedic skills have broken the mold for decades now.
Jennifer Coolidge’s most famous role is arguably her iconic portrayal of Stifler’s Mom in the cult classic American Pie films. Twenty years later, she received well-earned awards publicity with an Emmy win for ditzy dame Tanya McQuoid on HBO’s hit The White Lotus. Audiences will get to enjoy her presence in the second season of the show premiering on October 30, so we thought this would be a great time to celebrate the greatest roles of her career!

We now know Jennifer Coolidge from her terrific role in "The White Lotus," but the actress had humble beginnings. Before she took on the part of Tanya McQuoid, the unhinged massage-obsessed heiress in the HBO series, the experimental comedienne was one of many guest stars who appeared on "Seinfeld" in the '90s.

The "Legally Blonde" star didn't have many acting credits under her belt to present to the crew at "Seinfeld," but what she did have, was a resume full of "lies."

“Ozark” fans, rejoice. The Jason Bateman and Julia Garner-starring drama series is returning to Netflix in April with a second part to its fourth season — and it’s just one of many other hotly anticipated titles coming to the streamer this month.
April will also see the long-awaited sophomore installment to “Russian Doll,” the mind-bending “Groundhog Day”-esque dramedy series starring Natasha Lyonne as a hard-partying New York City woman stuck in a brain-melting circuitous loop from hell.
For fans of capital-m mess, there’s the Spanish-language “Elite,” which traces the scandalous (and often murderous) exploits of the posh attendees of high school Las Encinas. Or, if you prefer your glamorous mess via reality series, “Selling Sunset” — about the lux real estate market in Los Angeles — is premiering its fifth season April 22.

A list of new streaming releases on Netflix, what a concept!
Netflix’s list of new releases for April 2022 is highlighted by the return of one of the great sci-fi comedies ever. Natasha Lyonne is set to return as the temporally displaced Nadia on Russian Doll season 2 on April 20. The first season of the show premiered in 2019 and appeared to tell a rather complete story about one Brooklyn woman’s experiences of dying over and over again. But Lyonne and fellow producers Leslye Headland and Amy Poehler still have some story to tell. Netflix is undoubtedly very happy to let them continue to tell it.

A new year has finally arrived and HBO Max is set to open it with a bang. With its list of new releases for January 2022, HBO Max is rolling out some intriguing original series and an absolutely packed slate of library titles.
The real highlight this month comes on Jan. 13 with the release of Peacemaker. Developed by James Gunn, this series spins off John Cena’s titular character from last years’ The Suicide Squad. Also of note this month are second seasons for two major HBO series. Euphoria season 2 and The Righteous Gemstones season 2 both premiere on Jan. 9, making for quite the odd double feature. Meanwhile, the fifth and final season of superb comedy Search Party arrives on Jan. 7.
