Image Source: Amazon Movie enthusiasts, fasten your seatbelts and get ready to go into a cinematic from 1984 called Streets of Fire. This isn’t your average action movie or Broadway musical—rather, it’s a fantastic mashup of the two, all encased in a neon-drenched shell of pure 80s crazy. Seriously, this movie is one-of-a-kind. Picture it: a city that looks like a jukebox exploded, where brooding hero Tom Cody (Michael Paré) must rescue his rockstar ex-girlfriend (Diane Lane) from a leather-clad biker gang led by the devilishly charming Willem Dafoe. Oh, and did we mention Rick Moranis is the hilariously awkward manager caught in the middle of this whole mess? It’s basically the 80s dream team, and director Walter Hill (the director 48 Hours) was clearly having a blast throwing every genre into the blender. Critics Hated It? We Don’t Care! Yeah, the critics weren’t exactly thrilled with this one.

Marvel debuted a new 60-second promo (check it out here) and poster for Deadpool and Wolverine earlier today when tickets went on sale, and we now have an updated synopsis for the studio's "most significant mistake to date."
We've seen a few different versions (most likely placeholders for merchandizing purposes) of this logline already, but this is by far the most unserious yet!
“Marvel Studios presents their most significant mistake to date - Deadpool & Wolverine," it reads. "A listless Wade Wilson toils away in civilian life. His days as the morally flexible mercenary, Deadpool, behind him. When his homeworld faces an existential threat, Wade must reluctantly suit-up again with an even more reluctantlier... reluctanter? Reluctantest? He must convince a reluctant Wolverine to - F*ck. Synopses are so f*cking stupid.”

After a busy couple of weeks which saw us getting almost daily Deadpool & Wolverine updates, it's been all quiet lately. Yes, there's a rumoured runtime floating around (we've heard it's inaccurate) but that's really been it.
Now, though, Marvel Studios has released a new behind-the-scenes still showing director Shawn Levy and stars Hugh Jackman (Wolverine) and Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool) on the threequel's Time Variance Authority set.
Those colourful costumes pop and, yet again, there's no sign of Logan's mask. It's either only in Deadpool & Wolverine for a scene or two or it's been decided that covering Jackman's face in marketing materials isn't a wise move.
"Everyone assumed that Hugh's return was the result of me or Ryan pestering or pitching him relentlessly," Levy recently said of Jackman's return as Wolverine. "But even more miraculously, this was the result of a Hugh Jackman epiphany. He wanted to do...

The CW’s fall schedule includes a number of new unscripted series such as a game show night on Mondays with Trivial Pursuit and Scrabble as well as the return of Whose Line Is It Anyway?
But there was no room for one of the network’s longest-running hits, Penn & Teller: Fool Us.
Much like in scripted, The CW has a number of decisions to make and the return of the magic competition series is one of them.
The show has run for ten seasons and more than 150 episodes since launching 2011. Its tenth season premiered in October and recently wrapped a 20-episode order.
The CW President of Entertainment Brad Schwartz told Deadline that it has the fourth quarter “locked”. “If there is a new season of Penn & Teller, that’ll be top of 2025,” he said.

With numerous films and TV series in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it’s a daunting proposition for a newcomer to even think about getting caught up on the various characters and storylines.
But Shawn Levy, who directed the upcoming Deadpool & Wolverine, says there will be no “homework” required to enjoy his film.
“I was a good student in school. I’ll do my homework as an adult. But I am definitely not looking to do homework when I go to the movies,” Levy told the Associated Press.
He added that his goal was to make the already established fans happy but also create a movie that anyone can enjoy.
“I very much made this film with certainly a healthy respect and gratitude towards the rabid fan base that has peak fluency in the mythology and lore of these characters and this world,” he said. “But I didn’t want to presume that.
