If Catherine had a mustache, she'd be twirling it.
The level of villainy she's devolved to has become cartoonish at best, but it particularly took the cake during Grey's Anatomy Season 20 Episode 10.
In an understaffed hospital still battling issues like burnout, she wiped out four award-winning surgeons or those highly valued in their field, and she's fixing to take down the interns and potentially Bailey, too.
Catherine is a Cartoonish Antagonist to Everyone at Grey Sloan
Is it worth it, Catherine Fox?
There's a limit to how petty one person can be, and she's surpassed that by a mile and a half.
Meredith was back to wrap up the season by blowing through Grey Sloan and imploding everything in her wake under the guise of self-righteousness.
But because she's Meredith Grey, we roll with it.
She likes to burn everything around her down and then bounce.
In some way, I have to respect it.

Tom Hanks has played a hero multiple times, whether in Captain Phillips or as Woody from Toy Story. Each time, he’s managed to bring something new and meaningful to the idea of being a hero. Thus, when Clint Eastwood approached Tom Hanks, proposing that he take on the role of Sully, the real-life hero who safely landed a plane on the Hudson River in 2009, Hanks found himself pausing before making a decision, in the 2016 film.
Clint Eastwood in Bronco Billy
But then Eastwood hit him with just three words that sealed the deal. And that decision turned out to be a major highlight in Hanks’ already impressive career.
Clint Eastwood’s Three Words That Influenced Tom Hanks to Portray Sully
Before Sully, Tom Hanks had already portrayed heroes, or as he puts it “ordinary guys in extraordinary circumstances.” He had often felt typecasted. When Clint Eastwood offered him the role of Sully,...

It was a movie with a questionable title. A lot of critics were rough on it. Gene Siskel even called it one of the worst movies of the year. It came and went in theatres with few movie-goers paying any attention. But in the years since its release, it has become a beloved cult classic, with a legion of fans that love quoting its memorable lines. Some of its youngest viewers were drawn in by what they saw as a wish fulfillment concept: What would you do if the babysitter croaked on the first day of your mom’s vacation… so you had the house to yourself for two months straight? We get to see what the Crandall kids would do in the 1991 comedy Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter’s Dead – and it’s time for this one to be Revisited.

If the Star Wars franchise is considered one of the greatest film series of all time in Hollywood, the credit goes to its creative mastermind George Lucas. The visionary director pioneered a sci-fi revolution with the epic space saga that spanned multiple decades to become a cult classic that will continue to remain evergreen for years to come.

While the franchise has seen many unforgettable films, there have been some prequels and sequels that have been preferred over others. But one particular film in the series which was specifically made for the holidays, was considered by Lucas himself as the franchise’s worst effort and one that he would want to erase from everyone’s memory including his own.

Hollywood icon Harrison Ford has had a long and successful career playing different roles. But it was his portrayal of Han Solo in Star Wars that skyrocketed his fame and made him a superstar.
Harrison Ford as Han Solo
However, despite such a legacy of the iconic space opera franchise, Ford has always clearly mentioned his opinion on certain aspects of the series and this included his playful criticisms of George Lucas’ dialogue-writing abilities.

‘Star Wars: The Acolyte’ Creator Leslye Headland Talks the Unique Perspective of Her Upcoming Series
Star Wars: The Acolyte creator Leslye Headland is currently putting the finishing touches on a four-year journey that started with Lucasfilm boss Kathleen Kennedy buying her overall series pitch in the room. At the time, her hook was “Frozen meets Kill Bill,” and now the first trailer provides a few more of the puzzle pieces. Set a century before Star Wars: The Phantom Menace, Amandla Stenberg’s mysterious character appears to be hunting Jedi during a time of peace near the end of the High Republic era.
The trailer kicks off with Lee Jung-jae’s Jedi Master urging a group of Padawans to not trust their own deceitful eyes, and perhaps the same can be said of the trailer and the series’ overall narrative. The show will be taking a page out of Rashomon’s playbook, exploring different perspectives on the same events.

Malaga — Isaki Lacuesta’s “Saturn Return” (“Segundo Premio”), always a frontrunner, topped this week’s Malaga Festival winning its best picture, director (with co-director Pol Rodríguez) and editing (Javi Frutos) awards.
The triple plaudit delivers further recognition for a feature which pulls off the double achievement of being formally inventive and great fun at one and the same time.
Turning on Spanish indie rock group Los Planetas storied attempts to making their third and finally iconic album, but really about people’s need to recast the past as comprehensible narrative and a biopic parody, A broad audience play, “Saturn Return” has been hailed by Spanish newspaper El Mundo as a “masterpiece.”

A myriad of sentiments converge when estranged siblings meet to unpack the weight of their father’s recent death in Spain’s Álex Montoya’s third feature “La Casa,” adapted from the Eisner-winning graphic novel by Paco Roca and sold by Latido Films.
The film, which bowed last night, figures in the official competition selection at this year’s Málaga Film Festival, his project “Lucas” having previously swept the fest’s Zonazine sidebar in 2020 – snagging best film, actor (Jorge Motos) and Audience Award plaudits.
Written by Montoya and Joana M. Jacobi explains how he got into making this: "Seeing that creator/host Connor Ratliff had done the same nerdy deep dive and knew all the intricate details of George Lucas’s life, while not taking any of it too seriously, connected me to this performer immediately... Winona Ryder has had her career ups and downs since she made her film debut at age 15 as a high-schooler who befriends Corey Haim, her bully-targeted classmate, in 1986’s “Lucas.” She reigned as one of the most in-demand film actresses in the ‘90s as she transitioned into more adult roles. Ryder hit an unfortunate speed bump in 2001, after she faced shoplifting charges for stealing $5,500 worth of merchandise from a Saks Fifth Avenue department store. She ended up sentenced to three years of probation, 480 hours of community service and various fines while receiving both psychological and drug counseling.
Ryder took time off from acting between the time of her arrest until 2005, when she appeared in a string of indie films. But her true comeback arrived in J.J. Abrams‘ 2009 “Star Trek” reboot as Spock’s human mother Amanda Grayson. These days, she is best known as single mother Joyce Byers, whose...

As a twice-wounded veteran of the Vietnam War, Oliver Stone had a solemn responsibility to drive home the savagery of this tragically misguided conflict to modern audiences via "Platoon." It had been a little over a decade since the last U.S. helicopter left Saigon, and the filmmaker wanted to make sure no one would forget the myriad of atrocities committed in America's name. This meant he had to place the highest of premiums on authenticity, from the locations down to the cast.
Given that the film was going to be a showcase for numerous young actors, Stone found himself inundated with hungry ingenues eager to make the leap to stardom. Though the higher ranking officers like Sargents Barnes and Elias would be played by more seasoned performers like Tom Berenger and Willem Dafoe, their charges had to be fresh-faced kids who looked like they'd been plucked out of their...

Each Indiana Jones cosmetic in Fortnite is locked behind a different quest, and not all of those missions are created equal. You don’t exactly need a team of top men working on those quests in order to unlock them, but you can’t rely on an X to mark the spot, either. While some missions are as easy as shooting an enemy in the face, others take players on one heck of a treasure hunt.

Winona Ryder’s acting chops are not the only contribution she makes to Stranger Things. The Eighties icon also makes sure the scripts stay true to the era.
In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Ryder’s costar David Harbour said she gives feedback to creators Matt and Ross Duffer on the scripts to keep the 1980s accuracy in check, and the Duffer Brothers have modified the scripts after she fact-checks them.

When you’re making a show set in the 1980s and jam-packed with all things 1980s pop culture, it helps to have a 1980s icon on set. Such is the case for “Stranger Things” and Winona Ryder, who not only stars in the series as Joyce Byers but also makes sure creators Matt and Ross Duffer maintain 1980s accuracy on set. Ryder’s co-star told Harper’s Bazaar (via IndieWire) that the Duffer Brothers have often had to change scripts after Ryder fact-checked them.
“She’d tell them, ‘This song actually came out in ’85, and you have it in ’83,’” David Harbour said. “She knew all of these minute, tiny details they didn’t even know, and they had to change things in the script based on that…It’s just kind of epic how wild her mind is and how it goes to all these different corners.”

From “Beetlejuice” to “Stranger Things,” Winona Ryder has grounded herself as an actress in the weird and wonderful. From her very first role in the 1985 film “Lucas,” Ryder has made her name for herself, starring in franchises like “Star Trek” and “Friends.” The “Stranger Things” star is more famously known for her work with director Tim Burton, but her latest project is neither gothic and strange nor part of the upside-down.

‘Forest Whitaker macheted his thumb, Tom Berenger knifed his foot, Willem Dafoe got medivacked – and Oliver Stone jumped up and down with joy’
Charlie Sheen, played Chris Taylor
My brother Emilio Estevez and I were huge fans of Scarface and Midnight Express, which were both written by Oliver Stone. Emilio kept talking to me about Oliver’s new Vietnam film, which he was auditioning for. He got the lead part, Chris Taylor, but then couldn’t do it because of scheduling conflicts. When I auditioned, Oliver said I was “too mannered” and needed to do more work. So I did The Boys Next Door and Lucas – and I got the part, but only if Willem Dafoe approved. I didn’t meet Willem until we got to the Philippines. He ran past me in our hotel and gave me a hug. Later, Oliver came up to me and said: “Willem digs ya.

Held online over Oct. 20-22, 2021’s Spanish Screenings-Málaga de Cine mark Spain’s biggest national cinema showcase anywhere in the world, its equivalent of UniFrance’s Paris Rendez-vous. 113 recent Spanish titles were made available to 218 carefully-targeted international buyers, distributors and fest heads with a record of screening movies from Spain. Such a spectacular smorgasbord also says much about Spanish production trends and the state of the international market at large. Six takes on this year’s screenings:
A Sign of the Times
Last year, Malaga unveiled 20 market premieres. This year, the number were way down, with screenings dominated by titles brought onto the market as finished films at Cannes, Toronto and San Sebastian. That’s a sign of the times. With a huge international distributor release bottleneck, sales agents used the Spanish Screenings to wring more sales out of the titles they did have, rather than bringing new titles onto a clogged market.

Bowing at June’s Malaga Film Festival in Spain, where it swept three prizes in its edgier Zonacine sidebar – best film, actor (Jorge Motos) and its Audience Award – Spaniard Alex Montoya’s second feature “Lucas” has been picked up by Spain’s Filmin SVOD service, the country’s biggest streaming platform for art pics and upscale TV series.
International sale rights on “Lucas” are handled by Begin Again Films.
The acquisition continues a close relationship between the Spanish filmmaker and the Spanish streamer, with Montaya’s debut feature, “Asamblea,” become the most successful premiere on the platform during the Covid-19 pandemic. Montoya now returns with one of the buzz titles at this year’s Malaga Film festival.

A new leak suggests that George Lucas’ cut of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker featured a whole host of scenes that would have delighted fans of the franchise. This isn’t the first time we’ve heard about the mythical “Lucas Cut” of the film, of course, which is locked up in a proverbial or physical vault, depending on whom you ask. But these new details, which come from the masked YouTuber Doomcock, shed some more light on what it involves. As always, though, we’d advise taking all this with a pinch of salt, given the source that it comes from.
With that out of the way, according to Doomdock, the Lucas Cut scored the highest rating in test screenings with a score of 88. But Kathleen Kennedy chose not to release that version and went with the theatrical cut instead, which polarized fans. While George Lucas didn’t shoot an entirely different movie,...

After an affair King Lucas had with the Witch of Sausan, the Queen left him and remarried in an adjacent kingdom, and now his daughters are the only ones left at his side. Due to his love for them, each and every time they get lost in the castle, he moves heaven and earth to get them back and he only resorts to the most intrepid knights in order to find them, only the castles in which they’re held are randomly built and you, playing not one of King Lucas’ intrepid Knights but a mere knight who stumbles into this situation, must find them inside a little area of it. You can move horizontally and vertically through the rooms until you reach your goal. Once you succeed, the castle will become a little bit more difficult: a larger area will be unlocked and the experience will become more hardcore...

Charlie Sheen is once again denying an accusation that he raped Corey Haim back in 1986 — a claim repeated by Corey Feldman Monday night at the premiere of Feldman’s new documentary “(My) Truth: The Rape of Two Coreys.”
“These sick, twisted and outlandish allegations never occurred. Period,” Sheen’s spokesperson said Tuesday. “I would urge everyone to consider the source and read what his mother Judy Haim has to say.”
In emails sent last month to Sheen’s publicist from the late Corey Haim’s mother and obtained by TheWrap, Judy Haim wrote, “I feel that this is a huge accusation without any proof and without my kid being here to defend himself.” Corey Haim, a teen star who appeared in many movies with Feldman in the late 1980s and early ’90s, died of pneumonia on March 10, 2010, at age 38.

When it comes to the true-crime genre, you often hear of schemes on how to get away with murder. But The Confession Killer, Netflix's latest docuseries, explores how Henry Lee Lucas willingly admitted to hundreds of murders in the early '80s. Directors Robert Kenner (Food Inc.) and Taki Oldham tackle Lucas's disturbing true story that consists of a tortured past, a scandalous romance, and what ultimately appears to be crime history's biggest hoax.
Lucas's Troubled Early Life
Lucas grew up in a household rife with turmoil. His mother was a sex worker who allegedly forced him to watch her have sex with clients, and his father was an alcoholic who died of hypothermia after losing his legs in a railroad accident. Lucas himself lost an eye due to infection during childhood after a fight with his brother. He developed troubling behavior during his teenage years, sexually violating...

Call it the Ryderssance. Winona Ryder, beloved It Girl of the ’80s and ’90s, has spent the past three years churning out some of her best work yet, including small screen offerings like “Show Me a Hero” and the Netflix breakout “Stranger Things.” Soon, she’ll return to the big screen with her frequent co-star Keanu Reeves, thanks to the upcoming rom-com “Destination Wedding.” But before that, Ryder will be the subject of a decades-spanning career retrospective at New York’s Quad Cinema, featuring over a dozen of her films, with more to be announced in the coming weeks.

The new “Smash Bros.” game will include every single character to ever appear in the fighting series during its nearly two-decade run, Nintendo announced Tuesday during its E3 Direct. Dubbed “Smash Bros. Ultimate,” it comes to Nintendo Switch December 7.
In addition to old favorites, Nintendo is adding some new fighters to the roster, including Ridley from the “Metroid” franchise and “Splatoon’s” Inkling. The game will support a variety of controller options, Nintendo said, including Gamecube controllers (original or newly designed), Joy-Cons, or the Switch Pro controller. All current “Smash Bros.” amiibo figures are compatible with “Ultimate,” and fighter amiibos from other series will also be supported.

Charlie Sheen is suing the National Enquirer.
The 52-year-old actor filed a lawsuit against the tabloid, its editor-in-chief Dylan Howard, and actor Dominick Brascia on Friday, in response to an Enquirer article published last month, which accused Sheen of raping Corey Haim on the set of the 1986 film, Lucas.
Sheen is suing all defendants for defamation and false light, and is asking for an unlimited amount of monetary and punitive damages, recovery of his attorney's fees and a jury trial regarding the matter.
In court documents obtained by Et, Sheen's attorneys claim that Howard ran the story about Sheen "because of a personal vendetta that arose after he was unable to be the first to break the story that Mr. Sheen was HIV positive." The actor's attorney also accuses Brasica, who went on the record with the sexual assault allegations to the Enquirer, of not being a "reliable source nor credible."
