The music project MATURO was created in 1996 by self-taught composer Troy Maturo as an outlet for his musical creativity and a base to project his music to world. Being an electronic music technology guru, he began to compile some music in his unique electronic style. Thus in 1997, he released his first full-length studio album "Carpe Diem" under his own label T.M.M. MusicWorks. After successfully promoting "Carpe Diem", with performances at venues like Universal Studio Hollywood and The Irvine Spectrum, it was clear that there was a base for his style of music. He then released the albums, "Forever" (1998) and "Sanctuary" (2001) all while maintaining the same rigorous performance schedule which was beginning to take its toll. In 2002, he decided to take a step back from music to concentrate on elevating his personal life. Then in 2008, after a reboot, MATURO contracted with Disney and began performing on a monthly rotation at the Disneyland Resort Anaheim. This move prompted the release of a piano compilation album, "Piano all the Pieces" (2009), which spawned two new piano tracts that were to be released on the forthcoming album,"Infinity" (2011). "Infinity" would be MATURO'S most successful album to date with the singles, "Truly Eve", and the chill EDM track, "NeverTech" with both receiving Hollywood Music Media Award nominations for that year. The year 2016 brought an intense performance schedule with over 140 nights throughout various venues across Southern California, with the mainstay being Disney. This set the tone for the release of," Aurora" (2017), which was a single/EP that yielded yet another Hollywood Music Media Award nomination. This presented the opportunity to release a compilation album titled, " 20/20", (2017) which is a mix of 20 personal favorite songs over the first 20-year period of music. Since 2013, Troy Maturo has also branched out into scoring music for film where he has cataloged 2 full length features, many short films, tv shows and commercials. This also created the opportunity to release his first OST for the movie "Into the Equiniox" (2017), directed by Rydell Danzie and soon to be released OST for the feature film "The Evil Rises" (2018). The year 2021 will also bring a film music compilation album, music singles, and another full length studio album, So MATURO is here to stay as long as
the musical creativity and relevance exist...
