FBI: International said goodbye to another original star on Tuesday evening, and to our surprise, nothing happened to indicate Scott Forrester’s (Luke Kleintank) story was over.
As Monsters and Critics previously reported, the actor opted to depart the CBS procedural of his own volition.
Given Forrester’s lack of closure, there’s a good chance Kleintank wasn’t interested in returning to film an on-screen goodbye.
The latest episode of FBI: International found Forrester continuing his investigation into the case that’s been plaguing him all season, so it’s possible his arc could be a loose end that continues in the hopes the actor returns down the line.
Losing Forrester is another significant loss for the team after Heida Reed’s Agent Kellett was written out of the Dick Wolf drama earlier this season.
The hope is that we get updates about the characters no longer with the team,...

Has FBI: International found a replacement for Luke Kleintank’s Scott Forrester?
The hit CBS procedural has cast Chicago Med alum Colin Donnell in a guest-starring role.
People first reported the news, but in true Dick Wolf series fashion, details about who Donnell will be playing are being kept firmly under wraps.
We know that the Arrow alum will appear in the final two episodes of FBI: International Season 3.
Kleintank is set to depart before these two episodes, so we don’t think Donnell’s character will be involved in Forrester’s last storyline.
“After much thought and consideration, I’ve made the difficult decision to leave FBI International,” Kleintank said this week.
Will Colin Donnell replace Luke Kleintank?
“This decision is driven by my unwavering commitment to my family, whose love and well-being are paramount in my life. I’m profoundly thankful for the extraordinary cast and crew of the show,...

And that’s a good thing, since Jamie (Heida Reed) decides she’s leaving and transferring to the Washington field office. Though Scott (Luke ...

Combining two popular themes, an author struggling with writer’s block and AI run amuck, Blank is the story of Claire Rivers who can’t seem to put words on paper even as the bills pile up and the calls from her agent become more frantic. Finally, facing a one month deadline to either produce a book or lose her publishing deal she decides to spend that time at The Retreat, a high tech facility for the creatively blocked.
Her room comes complete with a holographic concierge named Henry and Rita an android assistant. There’s also a weird little device for Claire to attach to her head in order to stimulate her creativity. It doesn’t seem to help though as we mostly see her drinking wine and falling asleep in front of the TV.

As we head into the delayed 2023-24 TV season, many of our favorite shows are saying goodbye to beloved cast members.
To be honest, though, the big casting shake-ups are happening across Dick Wolf's rich tapestry of shows, and the latest fills us with dread.
FBI: International is the unlucky show getting the latest shake-up.
Heida Reed, who plays Special Agent Jamie Kellet, is being written out of the show early into its third season.
It doesn't sound like Kellet decided to walk away from the show, with sources telling TVLine that it was for creative reasons.
The casting news could be a massive spoiler for FBI: International Season 3, given that the freshman season concluded with a bomb exploding at the team's offices.

With fans waiting months for clarity on who might have survived, we may have an answer for who did not survive.

Heida Reed, who has portrayed Special Agent Jamie Kellett on FBI: International since the CBS series launch in 2021, will be leaving the show early in the upcoming third season, sources confirm to Deadline.
Neither CBS nor Wolf Entertainment would comment, but we hear her departure is a creative decision.
FBI: International follows the elite operatives of the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s International Fly Team. Headquartered in Budapest, they travel the world with the mission of tracking and neutralizing threats against American citizens wherever they may be. Not allowed to carry guns, the Fly Team relies on intelligence, quick thinking and pure brawn as they put their lives on the line to protect the U.S. and its people.
Reed’s Kellett is second-in-command to the Head of the International FBI Fly Team unit, played by Luke Kleintank.
Cast also includes Carter Redwood, Vinessa Vidotto, Eva-Jane Willias and Christina Wolfe.

Does the latest exit from a Dick Wolf series offer a hint as to how that season-ending explosion might leave the team? She debuted as Special Agent Jamie Kellett in the series premiere (which was part of a three-show crossover). According to the outlet, this is “creatively driven.” This news comes after Season 2 ended with the entire Fly Team — Scott (Luke Kleintank), Jamie, Vo (Vinessa Vidotto), Smitty (Eva-Jane Willis), and Powell (Greg Hovanessian) inside, Raines (Carter Redwood) outside — caught up in an explosion from the first floor of the building in which their headquarters is located. The only one we saw in the aftermath was Raines, unconscious. Since it’s unclear what “early” means, it’s possible that Jamie dies or is seriously ...
