Prior to co-founding SAVEarth Studios, Robin was the Senior Vice President of Original Programming at Showtime Networks in LA. Among the recent projects she shepherded at Showtime are the Golden Globe-nominated series Kidding (starring Jim Carrey), the Emmy and Golden Globe-nominated limited series Patrick Melrose (starring Benedict Cumberbatch), the revival of David Lynch's cult classic Twin Peaks, the drama series The Chi, from Emmy-winning creator Lena Waithe, and critically acclaimed docs such as Oscar-winning Amy Berg's Prophet's Prey and Lost Songs with TBone Burnett. Prior to Showtime, Robin was Exec VP at Imagine Television.
Prior to joining Showtime in 2012, Robin spent seven years as the Executive Vice President of Production and Development at Ron Howard and Brian Grazer's Imagine Television. While at Imagine, she worked on the series Friday Night Lights, The Playboy Club, Lie To Me, Arrested Development and Parenthood, among others. Before Imagine, Robin served as SVP of Development for prolific creator Greg Berlanti's Warner Bros. based production company, as SVP of Development for Francis Ford Coppola's Sony based American Zoetrope and worked in development at UPN and CBS.
Robin graduated with an Honours BFA in Theatre from York University in Toronto and spent her initial post-graduate years directing theatre in Toronto and San Francisco. She sits on the board of Los Angeles' Inner City Struggle and is a member of the Peer Group Executive Committee of the Television Academy.
