Vladimír Svitácek was born on 17 February 1921 in Strelice (by Brno), Czechoslovakia [now Czech Republic]. He was a director and actor, known for Kinoautomat (1967), Kdyby tisíc klarinetu (1965) and Konec jasnovidce (1957). He died on 23 August 2002 in Prague, Czech Republic.
