Casey Anthony is telling her side of the story for the first time. In the documentary "Casey Anthony: Where the Truth Lies," which premieres on Peacock on Nov. 29, Anthony revisits the infamous case surrounding the death of her daughter Caylee and reveals new details about what she alleges happened.
On July 15, 2008, Caylee's grandmother called 911 and reported that she hadn't seen her granddaughter for 31 days. Anthony initially lied to detectives during the subsequent investigation and claimed Caylee had been kidnapped by a nanny. She was later arrested and charged with first-degree murder, though she was eventually found not guilty on that charge.
Now, a decade after the case became a media frenzy, Anthony revisits what happened in the three-part documentary. Ahead, check out some of the biggest revelations.
1. Anthony says the "Bella Vita" tattoo was part of her subconscious rebellion against her family.

In a world where California's Los Angeles police department is being 'defunded' by multimillionaires, indifferent to the rioting and looting of businesses, homes and people in poverty-stricken districts, Sony Pictures "L.A.'s Finest", a crime-fighting cop, TV series spin-off from Jerry Bruckheimer's "Bad Boys" movie franchise, starring Gabrielle Union and Jessica Alba, will not be picked up again by Spectrum TV after two seasons, despite an outcry from fans of the series:

The company behind “Sesame Street” is willing to risk a few temper tantrums in its pursuit to expand.
Sesame Workshop is readying the launch of “Esme & Roy,” an animated series that will run on HBO and expand a partnership that has been in place since the At&T pay-cable service agreed to run the company’s flagship “Sesame Street” in 2015. The show centers on two “monster babysitters” – a young girl and her shaggier, yellow, horned counterpart – who help their young charges avert “monster meltdowns” while getting them to play games and take part in scheduled activities.
The series, which debuts 9:30 a.m. eastern August 18 on HBO, also serves to send a new signal that Sesame Workshop wants to broaden beyond Big Bird and Oscar the Grouch in the not-too-distant future.
“We are always going to be very boutique-y and selective, with a focus on quality as opposed to quantity,” says Steve Youngwood,...

It’s official: Charter Communications has given a 13-episode straight-to-series order to La’s Finest, the drama pilot starring Gabrielle Union and Jessica Alba from writers Brandon Margolis and Brandon Sonnier, Sony Pictures TV, Jerry Bruckheimer Television and 2.0 Entertainment. It is set to premiere in 2019 exclusively on Charter’s Spectrum as the platform’s first major original series.
Former CSI: NY showrunner Pam Veasey has come on board as executive producer/co-showrunner of the series alongside Margolis and Sonnier.
Sony TV took out the action pilot, a spinoff from the Bad Boys movie franchise, immediately after the project’s original network, NBC, surprisingly passed on it. Charter Communications quickly emerged as a likely potential home, starting talks with Sony TV just days later. With the deal in advanced stages, Sony TV has been selling La’s Finest internationally.

Many people were shocked in 2011 when a Florida jury acquitted Casey Anthony of murder in the 2008 death of her two-year-old daughter, Caylee. Anthony was, however, found guilty of four misdemeanor counts of lying to police, and Judge Belvin Perry Jr. sentenced her to four years in prison, one year for each count. And because he ordered the four years would be served consecutively, Judge Perry imposed the maximum jail time he possibly could. His ruling surprised legal expert Jeffrey Toobin, who observed, "Most people convicted of misdemeanors do not get prison time." But because Anthony had already served approximately three years in prison — and because she had exhibited good behavior — she only owed 10 more days in prison at the time of her sentencing. "I don't know how free she's going to be (but) she's going to be out a cage," defense attorney Cheney Mason said after Anthony's sentencing, per CNN.

For the past couple of months, all eyes have been on Meghan Markle. And more than 3 million people had their sight set on the new Duchess of Sussex after she and Prince Harry said “I do!” this past weekend as part of their incredibly lavish royal wedding. And a decent number of those people saw the new royal — in her stunning Givenchy and Stella McCartney dresses — and somehow felt like they were looking at Casey Anthony, who is best known for being accused of, and acquitted of, murdering her daughter. Don’t believe us? Check out the video above! “I can’t help thinking this but when I look at Meghan Markle my brain goes right to Casey Anthony,” one of these people tweeted. “It’s awful that this happens. I’m sure she’s a nice girl. Especially the profile! I’m like, I don’t want to think of Casey Anthony the sociopath.

It's been seven years since Casey Anthony was found not guilty of murdering her then 2-year-old daughter Caylee, but the case is still one of the most-talked about trials — in fact, Oxygen just premiered a new special The Case of: Caylee Anthony, which offers another in-depth look at the mystery. However, unlike most recaps of the crime, investigators in the special believe that Casey could have actually been innocent. Whether she's guilty or not, Casey has tried to move past the headlines and start a new life, which has left people wondering: does Casey have another child, and what is she up to today? Casey hasn't had any more kids, though she hasn't ever given a definitive answer as to whether or not she would want to be a mom again. "If I am blessed enough to have another child — if I'd be dumb enough to bring another kid into...

Of all the damning things that Casey Anthony did following her daughter Caylee Anthony's disappearance, entering a hot body contest is by far one of the most puzzling. If anything, it's because it extends so far outside the scope of what one would expect from a grieving mother. Then again, Casey Anthony hardly ever behaved within the confines of conventionally expressed grief. To be frank, she often looked happy during her trial, where she faced the death penalty for first-degree murder. Was that all an act to placate jurors into thinking she was in shock or mentally unstable? Or was the Casey Anthony we saw take the stand in 2011, truly who she is: an apathetic, selfish woman with little regard for the law, let alone the death of her two-year-old daughter? According to those who knew her well, the latter holds true — making the hot body contest, and the photos that came with it,...

For those unfamiliar with the case, she was accused of killing her then two-year-old daughter Caylee, who was reported missing in July 2008 by her maternal grandmother, Cindy Anthony. After Cindy had gone more than 31 days without seeing the toddler, she alleged that Casey's car smelled like a dead body. Of course, since the trial in 2011, many people still have a lot of questions about Casey's trial and Caylee's death — including not only why Casey Anthony got off, but how? With The Case of Caylee Anthony airing on Oxygen on May 19, check out some of the most common questions people have about the case below to get ahead of the special. Who was Caylee's father? So there are all these people who thought that they were going to be part of it when she made the money, and then Casey went behind their backs and gave an interview for free.

In the years since Casey Anthony was acquitted of murder in the death of her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee, she kept a low profile. She was seldom seen in public, and she never gave a media interview.
The closest Anthony, 30, came to speaking publicly was when she released a video diary in 2012.
And then, this week, she shattered her silence — sitting with with a reporter from the Associated Press to give her side of the story. In an article published Tuesday, Anthony said she still has no idea what happened to Caylee on the day she died, despite her defense previously arguing the little girl drowned.

Patrick Bradley to create a new growth capital fund for mid-sized firms in films, TV and more.

Britain’s National Film & Television School’s Digital Village received a major boost today when the UK Chancellor George Osborne announced £5 million in funding for the initiative in his Autumn Statement.
The Oscar and BAFTA winning Nfts, based in Buckinghamshire, was this year voted ‘the world’s best film and television school’ by Cilect (the international association of film and television schools) and its alumni include Wallace & Gromit creator Nick Park and David Yates who directed four of the Harry Potter films.
However, lack of investment on infrastructure has left the Nfts in dire need of expansion and modernisation.
