- Charles Albertine was born on February 24, 1929 in Passaic, New Jersey, USA. He was a composer, known for Escape from New York (1981), The Postman (1997) and Drop Dead Gorgeous (1999). He died on May 18, 1986 in Los Angeles, California, USA.
- Charles Albertine played tenor saxophone with the Sammy Kaye band in the late 1940s, and was the lead arranger for the new Las Elgart band. He arranged most of the Three Suns later music. Most of his later career was spent in television.
