Baywatch star Nicole Eggert has shared a video in which she shaves her head, as she continues to be treated for a “very rare form” of breast cancer.
The actress, who played Summer Quinn on Baywatch from 1992 to 1994, posted the video to Instagram earlier this week. As she took the blades to her hair, the Beastie Boys’ song Fight For Your Right provided the soundtrack. She started the process herself, and was helped by her daughter to finish off.
Eggert shared in January that she had been diagnosed with stage 2 cribriform carcinoma after suffering with pain in her left breast.
She accompanied the shaving video with the words:
“Maybe healing involves not so much changing ourselves but allowing ourselves to be who we are – Madeleine Eames.”
Celebrities including Alyssa Milano and Jennie Garth expressed their support in the comments section of Eggert’s post.

Slow-motion isn’t just for Zack Snyder films anymore! A Baywatch reboot is in the works at Fox, and the beach will never be the same again! Fox is requesting a sizable script and a penalty deal for the time-honored (and arguably horny) lifeguard drama, with Fremantle and Fox Entertainment co-producing.
We’ve known about a Baywatch reboot since April when Deadline reported Fremantle’s desire to bring fun in the sun back to televisions. At the time, Fox was developing another lifeguard drama, Rescue: Hi-Surf, from John Wells Productions. Rescue, a co-production between Warner Bros. TV and Fox Entertainment, is still going forward, with a fall 2024 launch as the project’s window. Regardless of prepping Rescue: Hi-Surf, Fox is ready to hit the sands with more than one lifeguard drama, hence the Baywatch reboot.

Like the end of a slo-mo music montage on the beach, “Baywatch” reboot has found a home: Fox has closed on a script+penalty deal for a new version of the long-running surf-sand-and-saviors series from Fremantle.
Fox and Fremantle have tapped Lara Olsen (“Spinning Out”) to serve as showrunner for the new “Baywatch,” which was originally created by Michael Berk, Douglas Schwartz and Gregory J. Bonann. Starring David Hasselhoff, “Baywatch” originally ran from 1989 to 1999 and then was retooled as “Baywatch: Hawaii” from 1999 to 2001.
Olsen, Berk, Bonann and Schwartz will serve as exec producers on the one-hour drama, which comes from both Fremantle and Fox Entertainment. Here’s the new logline: “Daring ocean rescues, pristine beaches, and iconic red bathing suits are back, along with a whole new generation of Baywatch lifeguards, who navigate complicated, messy personal lives in this action-packed reboot that demonstrates there’s the family you’re born...

Fox is doubling down on lifeguard dramas with a significant script plus penalty commitment to Baywatch, a reboot of the classic beach series. The new iteration is a co-production between Fremantle and Fox Entertainment.
Deadline revealed exclusively last April that Fremantle was working on a Baywatch remake. At the time, Fox already had started conversations with the indie studio for the potential series while also developing another lifeguard drama franchise, Rescue: Hi-Surf, from John Wells Prods. The latter, a co-production between Warner Bros. TV and Fox Entertainment, was subsequently picked up to series for the 2023-24 season; it is now on track for a fall 2024 launch due to strike-related delays.
Meanwhile, Fox remained interested in Baywatch, potentially as a summer series.

Actress Nicole Eggert, who played Summer Quinn, has revealed that she felt uncomfortable wearing her ‘Baywatch’ outfits. The 52-year-old actress was on the hit TV show for two seasons. However, she wasn’t actually aware at the time that she was going to be a ‘Baywatch’ lifeguard.
“All the girls worked out and were super tiny and fit and I was like ‘Whoops’. And the one-piece bathing suits were not flattering. I didn’t want to wear it at all. It just wasn’t what I signed up for. It was a totally different show and ballgame and not where I wanted to be,” she told People.
Nicole decided to have breast implants at the age of 18, amid concerns about her on-screen appearance.
The actress later regretted her decision, and she’s urged other young women to resist the temptation of surgery.

Exclusive: Baywatch could be heading back to the small screen.
Deadline understands that Fremantle has been developing a reboot of the classic beach drama series and has held early talks with a number of broadcasters and streamers.
The move would bring back one of the biggest shows of the late 1980s and 1990s as the trend towards rebooting classic IP continues. There are currently no creatives attached to the reboot.
The series made international stars of the likes of David Hasselhoff and Pamela Anderson.
Created by Michael Berk, Douglas Schwartz and Gregory J. Bonann, the series followed a group of lifeguards who patrolled the beaches of LA County. Originally produced by Gannett for NBC, the show was canceled after one season.
However, the Baywatch producers bought back the rights and produced a syndicated version with All American Television with the help of financing from German distributor Beta Taurus, part of...

Actor Zac Efron may have had a bodacious bod for 2017’s Baywatch, but he’s revealed that it came at a serious cost. Efron recently said he suffered depression and insomnia while filming the movie, particularly due to his intense workout routine. Do you know who wasn’t depressed? Any woman who saw Baywatch.
In an interview with Men’s Health, Zac Efron gave details on just what the side effects of looking that damn good can be. “I started to develop insomnia…and I fell into a pretty bad depression, for a long time. Something about that experience burned me out. I had a really hard time recentering. Ultimately they chalked it up to taking way too many diuretics for way too long, and it messed something up.”
Other than using diuretics, which help remove extra water and salt from your body, Zac Efron’s Baywatch workout regimen was intense.

Back in the mid-80s when many of us were just toddlers, shows like “Who’s the Boss,” were the most popular shows on television. It brought in record numbers of viewers – which is even more impressive-sounding when you realize people had to physically sit in their homes watching live television to see the show (this means they had to sit there at a specific time on a specific night and watch commercials). Nicole Eggert was part of “Who’s the Boss,” and she had roles in shows like “Charles in Charge,” “Baywatch,” and so much more that made her famous, but

A day after pro-Trump actors Kristy Swanson and Dean Cain retweeted what Swanson described as a “death threat” over their involvement in writer-producer Phelim McAleer’s planned performance piece FBI Lovebirds: UnderCovers, McAleer is using the tweets for fundraising.

They claim to love the arts and the Hollywood left is always giving awards congratulating themselves about how brave they are, but no one from the left or Hollywood has condemned this death threat to artists and their audience – just for telling the truth.”
The contretemps started Wednesday with news that Cain and Swanson will portray FBI agents Peter Strzok and Lisa Page in a one-night-only crowdsource-funded stage reading of the real-life duo’s now-infamous anti-Trump text messages. Actor Scott Baio said at a news conference today that multiple lie-detector tests prove his claims that he did not assault his Charles in Charge co-star Nicole Eggert.
“I have taken five separate polygraph tests given by two highly renowned examiners,” Baio said at a news conference in Woodland Hills that was broadcast on Facebook Live. Baio said the same questions were asked in each of the tests.
Baio recently filed a police report claiming Eggert has been harassing him and his family.
Eggert fired back via Twitter. “Are they aware I am ready to release the police file tomorrow right after their lame Fb rant?” She also called Baio spokesman Brian Glicklich “the person hired to harass me.” Earlier this week, Eggert obtained a temporary restraining order against Glicklich, a Sitrick & Co. crisis manager.

In a statement Wednesday, Scott Baio accused Nicole Eggert of lying to advance her career when she accused him of sexual misconduct, after the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office declined to pursue charges against him.
“Nicole Eggert dedicated herself to destroying my reputation and harming my family, and she has failed,” Baio said about his former “Charles in Charge” co-star in the statement, posted to his social media accounts. “The Los Angeles District Attorney’s conclusion to their investigation of her ever-changing stories marks the end of a sad chapter. Along the way, Eggert has defamed and harassed my family, friends, my wife’s charitable foundation, the families of the children that foundation helps, and many others. It’s hard to imagine anyone taking her seriously again.”
“For the last several months, my advisors have conducted their own investigation, which is well documented and was presented to the police and District Attorney.

Former “Charles in Charge” star Scott Baio won’t face charges from the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office over accusations made by his former co-star Nicole Eggert.
According to paperwork obtained by TheWrap, the Da’s office chose to decline the case on Monday because the statute of limitations had expired.
Alleging that Baio had sexually abused her while she was a teen working on “Charles in Charge” in the 1980s, Eggert filed a police report against Baio in February.
The paperwork from the Da’s office indicated that Eggert accused Baio of sexually assaulting her “in various ways between the ages of 14 and 17.”
During an interview with NBC’s Megyn Kelly in January, Eggert said that Baio penetrated her with his finger when she was 14.
“That happened quite often, through the age of 16,” she said of the alleged touching. “More than 10 times, more like probably once a week. And then on set, there was just a lot of groping, a lot of fondling, a lot of pulling me on his lap, trying to sneak kisses in the back, which other cast members saw.”
Baio had denied Eggert’s accusations, saying that he had a consensual encounter with Eggert when she was of age.
In a Facebook Live video in January, the actor said that Eggert “seduced me,” though she wasn’t a minor at the time.
“My reputation is being damaged, my family is being put through this, and I’m done,” Baio added.
