Inside Man (II) (2022)

I Loved it

I really didn't expect anything from this movie. Just thought it could be interesting since I am fascinated about prison movies. It was mostly happen outside the prison and it got me hooked almost from start. Forget about the plotholes and just enjoy the ride. One of the sickest plot in a long time. And a dark humour that I like. Entertaining and nailbiting at the same time. The story is about the prisoneer who was charged for murder who helps people investigate cases he found interesting, since he used to be a former detective. And there is the priest outside who puts himself in an absolute dilemma. Their paths are crossed while a young reporter investigates her friends disappearing. I so enjoyed this movie.

Destination: Infestation (2007 TV Movie)

Not as bad as it could be

Obviously it is a B-movie. Most of the time the action is on plane infested by super strong and dangerous ants. But the cast are descent and makes the best out of it. What disturbs me most in the movie is the repeating close ups of the ants climbing on cables and out of ventilation. Seems as it the same footage repeating itself. Some annoying passengers of course, the drunk the hysterical, the brave and the couple. Also a little love affair that happens. So they got the most right. I actually enjoyed the whole movie and watched it to the end and was not too much disappointed. Having in mind how many top budget films I l use to leave after 20 minutes or so, it can't be that bad. So lower your expectations if any and you will enjoy the flight.

The Good Liar (2019)

One thing bother me

I liked the movie very much. I think the plot was totally unexpected. But one thing was bothering me after the movie. The well planned revenge from Mirren could fail to easily. How was she supposed to know she would get a chance to take the bank device from his bag? This was just happen by an accident. What if he did not have put the bag on the table and left it for ten seconds? They could have find a lot better ways to do this more realistic. Ok I know it is a movie and I can live with it, but still, she planned this for a long time obviously and all depends on that moment how to get than bank device.

Bird Box (2018)

Good until...

I liked this movie, very exciting. Sandra Bullock better and ever. Everything was fine until.... ... ... The forest start whispering her name. All excitement was gone, it became a regular boring horror movie. I tried so hard to forget that the forest was talking or whoever it was doing the whispering. Too bad, I really would have like to give this movie ten stars, but this took away all excitement.

Gamle mænd i nye biler (2002)

As good as the first one

Naturally most people will compare this with the cult movie In china they eat dogs, since it is a sequel with same characters at most.

A comparison is only to value if You have seen the first one of course. Anyway, I would say that I found this more fun then the first but it doesn't mean better. The first has a more serious undertone. And I think it depends on what mode You are in when watching. I didn't have great expectations on this because of the reviews but laughed out loud many times because of silly situations. I would rank both films as 10 stars. So refreshing non-Hollywood made, character, environment.

I wouldn't say that this is so much pulp fiction but more Lock stock movie. There are so many holes in the plot but thats not important. You have to look beyond them and take it for what it is. Black humor at it's best, and as good as In China in every aspect.

Mäklarna (2006)

This is so funny

This TV-series is the funniest I've seen in long time. I watched all twelve episodes in two days. Kjell Berqqvist and Cecilia Frode are both magnificent in their roles as estate agents. I never thought Kjell could be this funny after watching other series with him. Of course he was good in the thriller Visitors (Besökarna in Swedish) but this was long time ago. But hey, don't take this movie too serious, it is a comedy. I really hope the estate agents not are like these two. Unfortunately some are close to. They play two losers in the estate business who try to make a firm running together. Kjell are the experienced one and Cecilia the beginner who will be guided by Kjell. But his methods are not in pair with Cecilas. He is a constant lier who do all he can to impress on everybody else especially his wife who has thrown him out and that he desperately wants back. But everything he does fail miserably. Watch this if you have some spar time and want some good laughs.
