White Collar (2009)
Couldn't stop watching
Loved this series. Binged on Netflix. Matt Bomer is yummy. Willie was a great partner. Great writing. All the actors were so well cast. So wish they would bring it back in some way. Sure would like to know what Neal is up to these days. Neal and Peter, Neil and Mozzie -- perfection.
I had watched Suits some time ago and loved it. Wanted to find something similar. Whie Collar was it. I thought the writers were the same but found that not to be true. The stories seem to run paralell.
Suits were attorneys and one young, very smart, wanna-be. White Collar is FBI and one young, very smart, thief.
I don't think you will be disappointed if you sit down to this one.
Almost Paradise: Pistol Whip (2020)
Really good and final film shot could not have been more perfect.
I am such a Christian Kane fan, and really love this series, that I had to give it 10 stars even though this one was a bit weak on the story line. It did have its "pull on the heart strings" moments though. I don't want to create any spoilers, but I absolutely loved, loved, loved the ending with the pearl handled pistol being delivered to Alex. His reaction is so cool. As Alex is so very good with the facial expressions, he says so much with his expression and then there is the last shot when he takes the jump and whips the pistol. That cinematography was absolutely perfect. Could not have been a more perfect ending.
Suits (2011)
Absolutely love this series. Binge watch favorite.
Title kept me away for the longest time. Never watched on television. After searching for something interesting to watch these days during strike, I came across this series. I am so very glad I took the chance. It is an amazing show. So well written. Has it all. People you love, people you hate, and people you love to hate--namely. Louis Litt. It is a roller coaster of events. It also gives the watcher a great insight to what goes on in corporate law. You will scratch your head at some of the antics, fill your eyes with tears in others. Keeps you on pins and needles for the long run outcome. The huge DISAPPOITMENT comes when you can only get 8 seasons on Netflix. Then you have to jump to another streaming network. If you are lucky enough to be a subscriber to that one -- you are in luck. I am not that lucky. Someday I will get to see the final outcome in Season 9.
Almost Paradise: Something Walker This Way Comes (2020)
Touches the heart
Most of television and even streaming is the pits these days. If you are looking for a show that will entertain and touch your heart, this is it. Can't say enough about all the episodes for Almost Paradise but this one will really draw you in. True for all of this series is the great writing and great acting with so much chemistry between the very likable characters/actors. Action plus warmth--can't ask for more. It will definitely make you ask for more. Many of the pieces come together in this particular episode.
I am not a person who watches most shows more than once but this entire series is so good that I have watched it several times and use it to fill my low spots -- always gives me a chuckle and lifts my spirits.
Almost Paradise (2020)
This show is a diamond in the rough--deserves more exposure.
We so need more shows like this. Good actors, good story lines, fewer guns, less AI used, teamwork pays off, with humor and sensitivity thrown in. There is just too much mutilation, horror, special effects, and hatred in today's Streaming and TV. This show is all around good entertainment. Can't get rid of the bad guys but they find better ways to solve the problem. And Christian Kane and Arthur Acuña having fighting skills that need to be seen.
Dean Devlin has found a way to keep Christian Kane at his finest. If you have seen him in Librarian and Leverage, you will continue to enjoy his presence here. He takes lead role which is well deserved for Christian's many talents.
