During the fight with the Predators' "hunting dogs", every wound inflicted on them bleeds red. After the fight, when Royce is explaining the situation, the freshly killed "dog" in front of them has blue blood around its wounds.
When all of the mercenaries fall off the cliff and into the water below, none of their large guns or swords are seen during the fall nor underwater, yet when they all get ashore they once again have these large heavy weapons.
At 24'32", there are giant planets in the sky but they are nowhere to be seen in the next scene at 25'11".
When Isabelle shows Royce the weird magnetism by using a leaf in water, she puts the leaf on the water and it is very flat. After the cut and close-up of the leaf it is very curled up and cup like. It is very obvious that it is not the same leaf.
When the cage is found the parachute is draped differently between shots.
It is physically impossible to "rip out" the spine and skull of a human by pulling on the spine as it is comprised of several individual bones (vertebrae) which would separate from each other.
At 1:10'42": Royce's flashlight emits humming sounds, which is not accurate, even on an alien planet.
Right at the start of the film, Royce drops through the forest canopy after detaching from his parachute, however the next overhead shot shows his parachute lying a few feet away on the ground - this seems unlikely as the parachute would have tangled in the branches above.
Unlikely perhaps, but not impossible.
Unlikely perhaps, but not impossible.
At 1:53, the protagonist comes back to consciousness in a jolt, not a correct depiction of a concussed person.
When we first see Nikolai open up with his minigun, the barrels don't appear to be moving. However, this is because of a common stroboscopic optical illusion known as the wagon-wheel effect (caused by temporal aliasing. The best known example of this is when the wheels of a stagecoach appear to be stationary when in fact they are rotating, because they are rotating at exactly the same speed as the camera shutter, i.e. 24 times a second.)
After two of the characters are fighting, one says that they should rescue the doctor who is hanging upside down in a tree. He is hanging nearby screaming continuously, but you only hear him when he is on screen. Nothing indicates that he was within a few feet of them. He was obviously a fair distance away as Edwin was shouting for help and says "thank god" when he sees the other members of the group, as if he was relieved to see other people.
Near the end, as Edwin and Isabelle are thrown in the hole, we see a small pile of spent cartridges, and some (or all) of them are clearly spent blanks (with a crimped neck).
When a predator rips Stans' head off by his spine in the usual fashion, his skull is shown stripped clean of flesh. In the next scene, Stans' body still has his head.
At 1:12'53": the inmate is rendered unconscious by a bolt of electricity in the back, propelled forward and yet manages to slow the impact on the ground by actively protecting himself with outstretched hands.
At 1:31'30", the rifle falls from what it seems to be Isabelle's left shoulder but its strap is visibly loose and under no tension. She was not holding her rifle in her left hand, and Royce would not have had time or the possibility to remove it and drop it on the ground.
When Isabelle shoots Cuchillo in the back, the wide shot shows for a split second a bullet wound opening up in his back, like she has shot him, but there is no sound effect. The next shot shows she her shooting him again and the bullet wound being created once again, but this time with sound. Her shooting him in the wide shot was clearly meant to have been cut, but a few frames still found their way into the final edit.
When the cage is found, Hanzo can be heard cocking a handgun he took out of his holster. However, in a close-up shot of the pistol, the hammer is seen up and he is not heard resetting it.
As Isabelle is falling in the pit, you can see the support cable that holds her up.
In the beginning of the movie, when Isabelle asks Royce "do you remember a plane?", the camera briefly gets a lens flare which is reflected onto Royce's forehead.
About 44 minutes, everyone runs and roll down a hill, then fall into the water. IF you look at the slope they rolled and fell down, you can clearly see it (the slope) has been landscaped with evenly placed small shrubs and perennials.
At approximately 27', it took so many bullets to "explode" the first alien dog but it only took one shot to instantly kill the on jumping on the doc'.
It is impossible not to have seen the giant planets in the sky prior to exiting the forest, so why the bewildered look on the protagonists' faces at 24'32".
Noland looks too "chubby" to have been "surviving" on this alien planet for several years.
Brody's character is supposed to be excellent military personnel and yet, he blinks when shooting and cutting plants with his machete.
It is most improbable that the shooter of the heavy machine gun would fail to kill or wound the two other protagonists when he had the element of surprise, good training, and such a powerful gun.
The Super Predators did not strip their prisoner (the original Predator hanging in the camp) from its weapons and the remote to the ship's command.
It is most improbable that this newly formed column of experienced soldiers would fail to discover the Asian man in a suit walking right behind them.
At exactly 29'05", the lady soldier does not hold her handgun straight, it's tilting towards the right, and yet, she has proven her ability with a sniper rifle.
