Surf's Up (2007)

An adorable film adults and children will love

This film created a beautiful relationship between the characters, especially between the main character and his chicken friend whom he had met a few days ago. They create the main character as a charismatic, empathetic penguin who eventually sacrifices the first place spot, and his dream, for his chicken friend.

This film emphasizes the importance of friendship through a comedic film about a penguin trying to make it to the biggest surf competition in the world. It is portrayed through the sense of a documentary film, which lightens the mood and gives this film an edge over other comedies.

This is a film everyone in your family will enjoy. Teaching the importance of friendship through a quirky way. It will leave you with a sore stomach and a happy feeling.

A COMPLETE flop

Warning: Spoilers
I love the first film, it's quirky and cute and funny and nonstop fun and... This is the opposite, it's typical and stupid and filled with jokes they are supposed to be funny (but are not) and feels like a 5 hour film... I could not wait to finish the film. It was a bore ride all the way. The comedy was staler than the stalest bread.

The first film created a beautiful relationship between the characters, especially between the main character and his chicken friend whom he had met a few days ago. They create the main character as a charismatic, empathetic penguin who sacrifices the first place spot for his chicken friend.

The second film decides to make the main character a cocky Ahole who only cares about himself. He becomes jealous of his friend and breaks all of his relationships to meet these big, buff, surfer gang who surf the biggest gnarly waves. Then later scrambles to save them. In a "beautiful" lesson about friendship 🙄. Like we haven't seen that before.

All in all it's a crust film that I would never recommend to anyone. Don't was your time on this, and definitely don't support it.

Skip this! Not worth a minute!

Warning: Spoilers
Please skip to the third paragraph for no spoiler review.

This TV show starts with a bunch of Elven children playing a hybrid game of hide and seek. They ask the our hero if a mysterious object is ready. It turns out to be a boat that does not float, but sails???? What's the difference? The children begin to throw rocks at the boat because he can't stand it sailing. Like we haven't seen that before.

This is the opposite of what Tolkien wanted. They disgrace Tolkien many times in just the first 2 episodes. They far enough to say, and I quote " Tolkien said that the Hard foots never did anything exceptional till the third age. So we felt we had the right to create a story there" of corse they had to make the so called "hard foots" go on a huge adventure. This is a complete disgrace to Amazon.

This is garbage, it took me 20 minuets for goth episodes of skip watching. Coming from someone who HATES skippers, that's significant. This tv show ignores Tolkiens lore.

THIS WAS INCREDIBLE DO NOT LISTEN TO THE BAD REVIEWS AND HERE IS WHY

First the movie is incredible! The opening credits sequence was incredible. I actually liked it more than Specter but I felt it was missing something.

Second, @Scaramouche2004 I see what you are saying and why you gave it a 1/10, but you have to think about it like this. Once he lost vesper in casino royal, his love became work, once more. When he found Madeleine, she became his love. He never wanted to go back to MI6. He just wanted to get revenge for what had happen with Madeleine and for the death of Felix. The whole movie he was trying to get Madeleine back, this is not obvious but if you look hard and see it two or three times you will see this. Daniel Craig never wanted to make this film, but Eon Productions convinced him to make one more. In specter he retired, this faced them with the challenge of bringing him back. This was an incredible idea, one other thing they could have improved on was making the adding some background information before the 5 years later text. All in all this is a wonderful movie.
