Nobara Kugisaki
aboudi-khanafer30 November 2023
In the latest episode of Jujutsu Kaisen, a palpable wave of sadness envelops the narrative, particularly involving Nobara. The emotional depth reaches new heights as Nobara faces unexpected challenges, and her resilience in the face of adversity is truly heartbreaking. The storytelling deftly explores the intricate layers of her character, exposing vulnerabilities that resonate with the audience. The episode navigates themes of sacrifice, friendship, and the harsh realities of the Jujutsu world. Nobara's journey is portrayed with such poignancy that it leaves viewers emotionally invested and moved by the profound impact of her experiences. Jujutsu Kaisen continues to excel not only in its live-action packed sequences but also in its abilIty to evoke genuine emotions through this well-crafted character arc.

I almost have no words for this experience! This was a blend of excitement, shock and heartbrake! So many emotions condenced into this episode!

The episode kicks off with some incredible qction as Nobara really gets to shine as we finally gets to see her in action this season! It was intense and exciting, until the vibe suddenly changed with an out og nowhere shocking moment!

The flashback was incredible and emotional as we got to see Nobaras backstory and where she comes from! She really made an impression!

At the end.. once i realised what had happened.. allowing it to sink in.. I could not help but burst into tears!

This season is INCREDIBLE! Every week delivers bangers! Might be one of the best stretch of episodes in anime!

I hate this show

Warning: Spoilers
Why... why... Before I get into this, let me just say how great JJK Season 2 has been. Literally every episode had stellar animation, the stand-outs being episode 16 and 17. I think that anyone who says that season 1 had better animation than season 2 is just straight up delusional. The Mappa workers are some artists and deserve way better than what they're currently dealing with. It's disgusting to have people work under such conditions and definitely shouldn't be allowed.

Anyway, onto the episode. We get a little of Yuji beating up Mahito, which will always be satisfying, but the main star of the episode is of course Nobara Kugisaki. The moment Nobara and Yuji saw each other, I knew that THE scene was coming and it still hurt. Yuji's scream, Nobara's silence. After Nobara gets touched, we get the flashbacks, which gives us some time to breathe. The flashbacks were handled great by the way. After we cut back to present time, and Nobara's says her final words, we see as part of her head basically pops. The fact that there was no music, no slow-mo, no dramatic scream from Yuji, just silence as Nobara falls to the floor, made it so much worse but also so much better. Yuji utters her name one last time before we get hit with the ending theme. That broke me. It actually left me so shocked and empty and I hate it. I hate this show and what it keeps doing every episode. But I can't deny that it's currently the best show that's streaming as of now.

RIP Nobara.

One of the best JJK episodes ever

Warning: Spoilers
I've never seen an anime where one of the three main characters die. This is why I love JJK it's so unexpected and I can't wait to see what happens next. The animators did an INCREDIBLE job and I hope there doing well. I'm aware of what's happening behind the scenes and it breaks my heart. Hopefully something good happens and the animators can pull through with these last few episodes. I would have never expected that we would have two deaths back to back and it's only season 2. I hope this episode gets the rating it deserves because it's amazing. I hope Yuji can still fight and I hope he can overcome Mahito.

Why , just why 💔...

Warning: Spoilers
This writer is determined to destroy my psyche with every episode.. This play with feelings and psychological character that he left on me is indescribable.. Nobara's character is the first character I got attached to in jujutsu.. Strong.. Smart.. Distinctive.. I think we just lost that trio together. .. I love this arc, well.. I love creativity in the production and the dramatic character and giving each character their due and time in the show.. but why.. Why is it that every time I get attached to a character, the writer's heart breaks... A great episode, but it raises the pressure at the same time.. I still haven't gotten over the death Nanami... and now Nobara... and I have not yet spoken about the philosophy of Yugi's suffering and the psychological devastation he is going through... Mahito, I just wish I could enter the screen to kill him... an extremely provocative character... as a whole... the episode is not at the same level as the previous two episodes. Before that, but it is great in terms of production and narration of events.. it was a hard episode to watch 💔.. 10/10.

Nobara's character development within one episode was insane
riyahotchandani1 December 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Best episode yet! Nobara's death was a major turning point in the series. It was a reminder of the dangers of the jujutsu world, and it had a profound impact on Yuji. He was devastated by her death, and it motivated him to become even stronger in order to protect those he cared about.

Nobara's death is still a controversial topic among fans. Some believe that it was a cheap way to add drama to the series, while others believe that it was a necessary sacrifice to show the stakes of the battle against the curses.

Regardless of one's opinion on her death, Nobara Kugisaki is a beloved character who will be missed by fans of Jujutsu Kaisen.

Gege's not thinking it through

Warning: Spoilers
So, I just finished watching that latest Jujutsu Kaisen episode, and man, it took me on a wild emotional ride. I had tears streaming down my face, but let's dig into it. I can't shake the feeling that the author might be leaning a bit too hard on shock value, especially in that scene with Mahito charging at Nobara. It felt a bit over the top - I mean, she's just standing there waiting for him to land a hit? Come on, that's a bit hard to swallow.

I get it, impulsive decisions can mess with the overall fan experience. Even as a diehard enthusiast, the abrupt exit of Nobara without much backstory or development felt rushed. She's this central character, and bam, she's gone. It makes her seem a bit one-dimensional, and that's disappointing because we all love her. A few flashbacks won't magically fix that.

On the positive side, Mahito is killing it as a villain, and the animation is still top-notch. The portrayal of Nobara's fall was done beautifully.

However, there are some downsides. Nobara's character needed more time to grow, and it's glaring that the author struggles with giving depth to female characters. Killing off Nobara felt unnecessary, especially considering what Yuji went through after Nanami's death. Nobara's death wouldn't add much at this exact point of the story because Nanami's death is supposed to be sufficient for Yuji's char-dev. Mahito pinning down another important character felt a bit forced. Nanami struggling against that long-haired blonde guy and then getting killed by Mahito? It feels like the author might be changing things up hastily.

And those flashbacks, they felt a bit out of place. I love seeing Nobara's cute side, but they could've incorporated it better, maybe earlier in the series.

Anyway, I'm giving it a 7-star because the animation and effort are still praiseworthy, as well as the fact that I just can't help but feel terribly sad for Nobara's loss. Fingers crossed for better character treatment in the future.
