Meg Foster who played Evil-Lyn in the 1987 Masters Of The Universe film voices the Motherboard character.
The Gwildor character from the 1987 Masters of the Universe film appears in this series. He was likely created as a replacement for the Orko character in the film, who would have been too expensive to realize on screen. This is referenced directly by Duncan/Man-Of-War, who states to Orko that the two are similar right before they meet. Orko and Gwildor end up working and bickering with each other throughout the series.
The characters Rio Blast and Spout Snout appear in minor roles in this series after both debuting in the Masters of the Universe toyline in 1986 at which point the original series had concluded. Spout Snout did appear in three episodes of She-Ra Princess of Power and a brief appearance in the He-Man and She-Ra Christmas Special. Which is more than Rio Blast got as he appeared only in the tie in comics. Revolution marks his debut in animated form 37 years after being introduced to the toy line.
Chris Wood, who voices Adam/He-Man and Melissa Benoist, who voices Teela, met on the set of Supergirl and have been married since 2019.
