- The two guys after Elsa try to hurt her multiple times
- Elsa impales a man with icicles, pinning him to a wall. He groans and tries to shoot her with his crossbow, but is stopped. No blood seen.
- Olaf is impaled by an icicle but he is unharmed and it is played out in a humorous manner.
- At a ball, Anna accidentally smacks Hans in the face.
- Anna and Kristoff are chased by wolves, and attacked by a giant snowman that Elsa created. They fall off a cliff, but land in deep snow, unharmed.
- Hans and his men battle Marshmallow, the giant snowman. Two of his men make it into Elsa's castle, where they fire arrows at her, and she responds by attacking them with ice blasts. One of the men fires an arrow aimed at Elsa, but Hans redirects the shot, causing a giant ice chandelier to fall. No one is harmed.

- Some infrequent frightening events include the tension between Anna and Elsa, their parents' funeral, the idea that Arendelle might be in an endless winter, Elsa losing control of her ice powers, and Elsa's fears that she'll turn into a monster.
- Elsa accidently hurts her sister with her ice powers once as a child and then again as a young adult.

- Anna punches Hans in the face on board a ship, sending him toppling overboard.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- Anna and Kristoff are chased by wolves, but manage to fend them off.
- Hans betraying Anna after he made her believe that he was her true love may be a shocking reveal.
- Anna and Elsa's parents are killed in a shipwreck we see the ship sink into a stormy ocean and a black curtain is drawn over their portrait at the palace.
- Hans lies to Elsa by saying "your sister is dead because of you." Some parents would not feel comfortable explaining what this means to a young child who asks for clarification.
- In one scene near the end, Anna, the main protagonist, completely freezes solid into ice when she sacrifices herself to Elsa. Afterwards, Elsa sees Anna's frozen body and realizes what she has done to her and then mourns for Anna, where we see Elsa with a broken-hearted and devastated expression in her face and also, we see a tear roll down her right eye, to which we then see her hugging Anna's body and she then starts crying in extreme sorrow and anguish. Olaf and Kristoff are also saddened by the sight. However her body thaws and she is brought back to life.
