More family drama than Sci Fi . Don't expect to much regarding the whole getting to Mars story. Wouldn't count on a second season.
Tang shan da di zhen (2010)
Powerful...
If ever there was a movie to inspire a person to write a review Aftershock will be top of the pile.I went into this movie unaware of its story and history, and was more drawn to its reviews from some of the more reliable critics. I wont dwell long on telling its story as it will speak for itself. The special effects are very realistic and quite disturbing. And as for the acting there isn't a Hollywood actor out there that could come close to the performances given by all the cast.I dare any Man to sit through this without shedding a tear it just wont be possible. I would highly recommend this movie for all to see. Rest in peace 240,000 souls who perished
The Blacklist (2013)
Great Start...Don't mess it up....
Finally the return of James Spader and in a role tailor made for his intelligent and mischievous acting abilities. Who better to take the lead as Raymond "Red" Reddington Americas most wanted man for acts of treason. First impressions after 2 episodes suggest the budget is there to take this show to great heights and there is endless possibilities to where it can go. Lets hope it doesn't rest on Spaders shoulders to carry the show. With so many great shows been aired on t.v today its got its work cut out.But with young Writer/Creator Jon Bekenkamp whose recent success with The Call staring Hale Berry it should have a fighting chance and I for one hope it does.
The West Wing (1999)
Sorkins Masterpiece
Since its final episode in May 2006 many shows have come and gone, but very few have come close to its fulfillment.Set in the west wing of the white house, a battle ground of sorts where the meeting of minds shape America.Focusing on a few key players from the Chief of staff,Dept Chief of staff, press secretary, speech writers and the President of the US.With stories of every possible scenario involving presidential life. From assassination attempts to re-election campaigns. There are many remarkable highlights to the west wing but the one that secured its 2 terms or 7 seasons was Arron Sorkins ability to keep it fresh with unusual but factual stories that would come across the desk of POTUS. The cast which includes Rob Lowe, Allison Janney, Bradley Whitford, Richard Schiff and energetic chemistry of John Spencer(Chief of Staff) & Martin Sheen (POTUS)puts this show in a league of its own and gets my Vote as Best T.V Show of all time. 10/10
