The Dead Good Show

I remember watching this show as a student in Salford in 1992. Cast of at the time unknown comedy performers. I seem to remember Coogan parodying Jeremy Clarkson, John Thompson referencing a wrestling move called the 'Whistling Whippet'. Steve Coogan may also have been dressed as Julia Roberts conducting a Wogan style chat show interview. Not seen it since and never been able to track down a copy to see if I remember even half of it reliably. I just remember it providing me and my house mates with a bunch of oft repeated funny lines and references.

I think all were performers on the Manchester comedy circuit at the time and this was a vehicle to launch their TV careers. I believe it was limited to a single regional pilot episode that was intended to launch a '3 of a kind' style sketch show. However, all did OK even if this wasn't the springboard they hoped for.
