Alley Mills and Dan Lauria, who played Norma Arnold and John Arnold, respectively, the married couple in the iconic series The Wonder Years, team up as a married couple in one of the final episodes of the Fantasy Island reboot.
The episode was okay, although a bit more nuance would have given this some edge. Anyway, Alley and Dan play a married couple who are at war with an African-American couple who happen to be their neighbors off the island.
If this episode was part of the Malcolm McDowell reboot, or if this episode was directed by Spike Lee, then perhaps there could have been a racial twist or something like that to give it a true edge.
