This game is one to remember it had one of the best multiplayers with everything well balanced,an amazing zombies mode and an amazing campaign.
I got the game. I loved the game. Completed it in 14 hours and I used to have COD. Now I love it.
Treyarch have done something astonishing. There is an unbelievable amount of things in this game from Customization to Zombies.
Get the game. It's a great one.
Like COD 4 Modern Warfare. It's still a COD game in many ways, but some very welcome changes in the Multiplayer, Zombies and even the Campaign (a rare pleasure) make this a more enjoyable experience than past games.
Guys. It is great.

The most popular Call of Duty game, a game that I spent hours playing the zombie or multiplayer mode, which was not said by the previous part, and the zombie development became the best phase of the story. It was not the same as the previous parts, but it was not bad. I really enjoyed playing the game and I hope it comes out for the Playstation 5.
I love this game! I love it! The campaign is great. I love how you switch from 1986 (or is it 1989?) to 2025. The levels are great and very brain-racking.
The Multiplayer is very fun and the maps are great. I love the guns that you get to use and other equipment. The graphics are great and the fights are fun.
Zombies mode is very good and intense. It is quite challenging as well and it's not for the faint-hearted. WARNING!!! I f you have a very young sibling/child/cousin etc. do not let them watch you play zombies because they will poop themselves with fear of the zombies. I recommend this game for any CoD fan of ages 13+.

While the future may indeed be black be in this gloomy, believable fiction written by established Hollywood writer David Goyer, the future for the Call of Duty franchise certainly is not. Game developer Treyarch Studios has delivered a game that not only lives up to the franchise's reputation, but is an incredible game overall.
Call of Duty has pioneered the shooting genre for years now, and Black Ops II is a testament to why that is. Sharp, responsive controls; constantly evolving game-play; writing that is both compelling and touching; Black Ops II is an absorbing experience.
The story follows several characters, some from other Call of Duty games, but anything relevant to the plot is recapped in character dialogue. You'll tread in the boots of many different soldiers throughout the course of the game, but you'll slowly realize that if Black Ops II does have a main character, it would be the antagonist, Raul Menendez.
Contrary to the black and white stories typically told by war movies and war video games alike, you will truly sympathize with Menendez as you learn more about him. Maybe he's even right in his cause.
The story is far stronger than any first person shooter should have, and I recommend playing it just for the story. Oh, and the story has several different endings based on player input, so be careful out there! Long time fans of the series will be pleased to see the competitive multi-player seeing its first major advancement in years. There is even a zombies mode that is on par with any action survival game out there. This game is massive.
The future is not black for this franchise if Treyarch Studios keeps making games like this. See you on the battlefield!

I recently was given this game as a gift for my birthday I found it to be one of the most fun multi-players I have ever played. I will now give to you the PROS AND CONS of Call Of Duty Black Ops 2: Pros: Huge fan based multi-player(always someone to play with online), Non Repetitive storyline, Good back story for the player who played black ops the original, Lots of weapons and maps in multi-player, Easy report access for the jerk who keeps trash talking and ruining the match, Cons: $45 price tag, Most content is DLC, $15 map packs and they don't even come with multiple cameos for guns, Lag more than other COD games So all in all this is one of if not the best call of duty games on the market very addicting multiple endings in game choices and a lot more for the call of duty fan in you or a friend

Since I've started to play this videogame, I realized how the storyline of Cod Black Ops flows from COD BO1-2. Alex and Woods and David were the best characters and playable in this game.
Different countries are in Cod Bo2 ( Angola, Afghanistan, Nigaragua, Yemen, Panama and NYC).
Guns are a good choice in this game to shoot and very controllable.
Some missions they have the year 1986-1989 and some 2025 where David plays here with Harper and his team.
Zombie mode was fun and enjoyable to play. I passed 12 rounds and got 16300 points.
Soundtrack is really amazing that fits the COD BO2 missions.
I highly recommend this game to play. It's fun, you'll spend your time very good to play, it never gets boring.

Treyarch have messed up their game. Not only is the campaign boring, and crap. But the graphics hurt my head and eyes, the servers fail to connect (STILL)
Black Ops 1 had a below decent campaign (just below decent) but I enjoyed it a lot. The Modern Warfare trilogy was one of the best games in the COD franchise, but since that ended it's all gone to hell.
The latest installment, Call of Duty: Black Ops II is literally the most disappointing, most painful, most ball punching game of this franchise that I have ever played. The only feature that saves this game from a 1 star rating, and the only feature for which I play this game for is Zombies. But when Zombies gets boring, I turn off the system and don't return to it for weeks or even months! Me and my friends USED to play this together online, back then it was kinda fun but now it's lost its touch. Treyarch were you drunk while making this?!

The game just came out and these are my first impressions, note I'am going to re-review this in a couple of months. After Modern warfare 3 I lost all hope for call of duty, even though I already knew it was going to be bad. Treyarch's has had a good track record so far, but that stops now. Some problems have been taken away, but they added a whole truck load of new one's. The lag is worse than ever before, my god, the game runs like s**t. MW3 lag wasn't to big of a problem, but here it is unplayable. It goes like this, I shot someone 15 times or more and they turn around and shoot me once, and I mean it when I say one bullet. Black ops lag was also atrocious, but not this bad. Every death I get is from a camper, explosion or lag. They put even more kill streaks in this time, so all those twelve year old kids can get a high k/d, they sit in corners. But thats just what you get when all these children are watching you tube. I was a huge zombies fan and would play it just as much as the multi-player. I like how the maps are grander than before, but I just don't care about zombies anymore, it got old. The graphics look the same as black ops, the game play is the same. The sound is great, as with all Treyarch games. I have no interest with the campaign right now, I'll review it in the next review. The game isn't bad, it's just UN-polished(multi-player). Out of my 70 some matches i've only had one game where it wasn't lagging, so I wasn't getting angry and easily got top score. I would like to add that I like the guns and the levelling system is the best so far. The game would be more fun if the lag was addressed.
!Update!#1 The lag is even worse now, and my theatre mode doesn't record my game plays. Zombies is still fun, but all the bad players ruin it. The game has been crashing my ps3 quite a bit, at least once a day.
!update!# I've been getting host a lot lately, and it sucks, it causes me to have a worse connection than anyone in the lobby, which results in a rage quit. This game is so bad I can only play it for ten minutes before I shut the PS3 off. I mostly enjoy using the pistol's, and only a few primary's.
This game is by far the worst Call of duty I have ever played, and I played them all, it could be one of the best if Treyarch cared enough to fix it, but they don't. This is more of a rant than a review. I can't enjoy this game anymore, it is complete garbage. The worst game I have played all year.
JAN,15: Well the game worked fine for a couple of match's this past week. I am getting tired of the game giving me host and then kicking me out, it mostly happens when I am doing good, coincidence? I find it stupid that you have to prestige. And last but not least, this game is incredibly boring, I played thirty minutes today and it felt like an hour and a half, and to my amazement I only played this game for 1 day and 15 hours, it felt like I should have been at 2 and half days by now.
JAN.18: I had the displeasure of hearing something disturbing today, it was about a teenager. For you more mature people, get ready for this. So this kid somehow got on the topic of assassin's or something, he said that would be a fun job, the teacher said" then you would have to kill people". The kids reply made me want to throw up. He said I would have no problem killing anyone, it's fun and I do it all the time in Black ops. It was very obvious he meant it, especially when the teacher gave him a disapproving look. Is this seriously what young kids get out of these games, if so, it should be illegal for anyone under 17 to play them. I thought I'd share this along with my other rants.
JAN.23: I just had the most frustrating 30 minutes of my life. Here is what happened. My ps3 had just crashed 3 times in a row tyring to get this s**ty game to work, and then it finally worked. And I was greeted by a constant 2 bar, campers and a lag switcher. And for the first time in my 8 years of gaming I through my controller. I used enough forced that it bounced off of the ground and hit my computer which caused it to hit the wall. It didn't break. I have never been that angry before, but this steaming pile of excrement is the last straw, I think I'm going to take a month off from playing this game, I don't think I can take anymore of it's BS.
FEB.10: Well the game has been running better lately, it still makes me angry though. I've been using pistols exclusively, and find I do better with them. And for the first time in this game I had fun, when I got a 7300 point kill confirmed game.
FEB.21: Well i've finally settled into this game, I have my guns and classed set up to suit my play style. The only guns I use are the Five Sevens, Tac.45, and the M1216, the M1216 is the most fun to use. The submachine guns are the most overused guns in the game, they are way to powerful. I have been doing much better now, and can get 6000 point games regularly, so I'm satisfied for now.

Black Ops 2 is still the best Call of Duty game over a decade since it's release and will be for many more years to come.
I loved the zombies game mode and it's what got me in to Call of Duty in the first place.
The multiplayer was also very fun and great to play with friends.

With a funn multiplayer and a lot of content, cod bo2 is a balanced experience without advantages and with no noob-friendly things like bo3 and bo4.
The campaign is great, awesome characters and Mendez is one of the best villains in the franchise. The replay factor does exists with the possibility of u choosing your equipment before the mission and different choices.
Somethings are bad, the lag does exists and affects the experience and sometimes the story feels kinda rushed.
Extra: the soundtrack is amazing
In the end, bo2 is a well balanced experience mainly in campaign and with well rewarded skills in multilayer mode.

Positives:
Negatives:
- Branching story
- Tone and atmosphere
- Characters
- Gameplay
- Presentation
- Musical score
Negatives:
- Some of the pacing
I have played Call of Duty since Modern Warfare came out, and i am not one of the 12 year old kids who wants to sleep with your mother.
In the game you are David Mason, son of Alex Mason (Main protagonist of Black Ops I). Every now and then you are in the 80's as Alex, but in my opinion, is there not enough 80's in the game. In Black Ops I you are playing in 1960's, executing Fidel Castro in the first mission, meeting a old face from World at War, Viktor Reznov. The game had a great storyline, but Black Ops II is a little more flat. It introduced a new thing (You could change the story of the game if you took a couple of shots.
Something about Black Ops I that i loved was the gore and carnage, which provided a much more realistic gameplay, even because it's milder than WaW. Black Ops II had the same feature (Blowing limbs off), but it's much rarer and nearly impossible to do. The bulletwounds are back, but you can't fire on them until the ground is filled with splattered blood.
Thr multiplayer is WAY to noobfriendly. You can handle more shots, something which isn't so fun. The campers have a much greater advantage in the game and the streets are filled with quick-no scopers while the assultrifle guys hide in corners. The maps are even so bad that they have redone Nuketown. Only that it is worse.
I give the game a 4 for the campaign, 1 1/2 for the unique map TranZit, and a half star for the nooby multiplayer.

The Campaign was incredible. I was completely blown away by the originality (I mean the decision making thing has been done far more effectively- for example with the Mass Effect trilogy) but it was so emotional and intense. (9/10)
Zombies is furthermore bigger and better than before (I'd rate it 8/10). Worth buying simply for zombies and or campaign alone, far superior to the pitiful multi player...
This game blew my mind when I bought it: but the on line multi player is just pitiful. There's no fun in it any more: the lag from hosts, the irritating migrating system, the amount of 10 year old kids all contribute to a really horrible multi player experience. This is probably the #1 selling point furthermore: the maps an such themselves are great, but the fact they do nothing to solve these irritating multi player problems. That really drags it down to 6/10, for a good multi player all-round fantastic online and offline campaign, ass well as fun co-op, Battlefield 3 is far superior.

Hence most of the Call of Duty games are allot alike ill just post my review here.
while the main single player campaign might be OK, the main problem is in the muti-player online mode. This mode is the one thing that turns good gamers into people with anger problems even more when its kids as young as eight playing.
I have played allot of online multi-player shooters and seen tons of truly skilled players but Call Of Duty seems to be filled with people who camp and only snipe. Those people who snipe and camp are not good at shooters; they make it hard for casual players who only play when they are over at a friends place or when they got free time from work or school.
This game series along with FIFA and other sports games seem to be the same exact games just with a few new features and a little better graphics.
While i enjoy the detail with the guns compared to other shooters, the online community and playing online is just not worth it.

where do i start. this is the best COD of the franchise. some would love to hate this but COD is famous for a reason, no other FPS game has matched the fast fluid action that COD has nailed. sure enough the graphics are not the best of what are out there, but it is decent enough to say that this is the best graphics game in the COD franchise. there is soo much to cover in this game so ill try and make it short. CAMPAIGN:- this campaign is short, longer than the previous entries but it is short. but there is sooo much variety and gameplay changes to counter this flaw. the story is awesome and convincing and the villain is AWESOME. there are the returning characters from Black ops which is a good thing. this time around you shape the way the story progresses, sometimes the choices you take has such a drastic change in the story that it actually changes the ending, yes thats an awesome reason for you to play the game twice. the game frequently shifts from segments in the past and future but it never confuses you in any cost. this is in many ways a era to the franchise. MULTIPLAYER:- this is down right the best multiplayer experience in the franchise. there are sooo much of changes in the multiplayer thats makes this game the best mulyiplayer experience than any other. the maps are small and i mean REALLY small. but thats actually an awesome thing, your constantly engaged in the action rather than running around wildly searching for foes. this time around there is something "pick 10" option, which means you can set only 10 equipments in one class. this makes you set your class strategically according to the maps. this time the kill streaks are replaced with score streaks and this is awesome, you earn your streaks by the amount of points you gain and this is awesome when your playing matches such as domination or kill confirmed. the level up is very rewarding and the guns are best of the series. there are so much more awesome stuff but i wanna keep this review short. ZOMBIES:- the zombies return and they are freaking cool. this time there is something called the tranzist, a small campaign which is unfolded through radios after completing each wave of horrifying zombies. playing with a friend is the best way to experience this mode and there are different varieties of modes to keep you engaged for months.
VERDICT:- this is by far the best COD game ever realised and this is a must pick up game for any playstation or xbox owners, sure there is some lag and framerate issues in the multiplayer but it is never bad enough to ruin the experience. this is in many ways a new beginning to the franchise and this could turn any FPS gamer to fall in love with the franchise.
