Hey, "Grey's Anatomy" fans. We've got some extra great news for you guys that we think you'll certainly enjoy hearing. Recently, the folks over at Deadline recently put out a report revealing that ABC is so pleased with the way the current season 14 is going that they decided to extend it! That's right. Apparently, ABC only originally ordered 22 episodes for this season, but now they've bumped that number up to a full 24. That means you guys can expect to get an additional two more episodes before this season is over. How do you guys feel about that? We're sure most of you are ecstatic about it. In addition to ABC extending out Grey's Anatomy's 14th season, Deadline also reported that ABC gave their hit comedy series "Black-ish" another two episodes, and they gave their show American Housewife another two episodes. That gave both of those series a total 24 episodes each.

Hey, "Grey's Anatomy" fans. We've got some very interesting new casting news for you guys in regards to this current season 14. Recently, the folks over at Entertainment Weekly put out a new article revealing that the show has hired former"One Tree Hill" actress Bethany Joy Lenz. If any of you were "One Tree Hill" fans, you'll remember her as the one who played character Haley James Scott on that show. Entertainment Weekly pointed out that this new casting comes just after they got rid of season regular Martin Henderson aka Dr. Nathan Riggs. Bethany is scheduled to just be a guest character on Grey's Anatomy. So, it doesn't sound like she'll be sticking around for long. She might come in and do an arc that spans a few episodes and then head out. But, who knows? Anything can happen. She might stick around the whole season if they decide its better for the show.

Throughout his decorated career, Sir Patrick Stewart has amassed a collection of truly memorable roles. We’ve had the great Professor X – a role that Stewart will soon reprise for James Mangold’s Logan – Star Trek‘s Jean-Luc Picard and, more recently, Darcy Banker, the neo-Nazi skinhead seen in Jeremy Saulnier’s excellent Green Room. But in 2017, Stewart will lend his voice to Sony’s Emoji Movie.
He’ll play Poop – no, really – and we understand that Stewart has climbed on board alongside a whole host of newcomers including Jennifer Coolidge, Bridesmaids alum Maya Rudolph as Smiler, and Jake T. Austin as the human character of Sony’s twee animation. Anthony Leondis is at the helm for The Emoji Movie, which largely centers around Gene (Deadpool’s T.J. When Sony Pictures Animation first drafted up plans for The Emoji Movie, the Internet was suitably perplexed. How could an audience expect to care about a host of digital characters that are, by definition, one-note personifications of an emotion, or a symbol, or, you know, poop?
To be fair, similar questions were raised in anticipation of The Lego Movie and this year’s Trolls, and Sony has crafted something of a workaround in Gene (T.J. Miller), a symbol whose ability to express more than one emotion renders him the outcast of Textopolis, a bustling digital utopia in which much of Anthony Leondis’ animation is set to take place. Think Zootopia, only overrun by sprightly pixels as opposed to an entire animal kingdom. And so, what follows is an “app-venture” like no other, after Gene is left with little choice but to buddy up with Hi-5 (James Corden) and a stealthy...

Sony Animation is pulling out all the stops to boost its output for 2017 and 2018, and the result is some fairly wide-ranging news regarding both the television and film side of the operation. With its animated Spider-Man feature already moving full-speed ahead – with Phil Lord and Chris Miller on board – and television series of both Ghostbusters and Cloudy With a Chance Of Meatballs in development, the biggest titles currently under discussion are Hotel Transylvania 3, that film’s overall franchise, and EmojiMovie: Express Yourself.
The Hotel Transylvania franchise
Recently, Sony announced that the director of the first two instalments of the highly successful franchise – Genndy Tartakovsky – had opted not to return for the third movie. This was widely acknowledged to be the result of his return to the Samurai Jack fold, since he was that show’s creator, and he just headed up a brand new season. Though many balked at its announcement, Sony Pictures Animation has reminded us all that its Emoji Movie is still very much in development, and it has a new release date to call its own: August 11, 2017.
It was just one of a number of animated features that the studio dated, with the other notable reshuffling arriving in the form of Chris Lord and Phil Miller’s animated Spider-Man movie, which has shied away from its tentative 2017 window – logical, given that Marvel’s live-action feature is due in 2017 – and taken up residence at December 21, 2018.
Lord and Miller are currently pitching a treatment for the animated film and are set to go on to produce. They’ll stop short of directing, though, with a certain Han Solo spinoff movie looming on the horizon as the creative pair begin to make tracks for the Star Wars universe.

You read that right: Emoji The Movie is in the works at Sony Pictures Animation...
And you thought some of the remake stories we've been running have been odd.
Still, we suppose it was inevitable, really. The rise of the Emoji - those little pictures designed to get across messages that used to be conveyed by things such as words - has been quick and brutal. The Emoji first came to prominence in Japan in the late 1990s, and we now learn that there's going to be an Emoji movie.
The film has come about courtesy of a pitch from Eric Siegel (the TV show Men At Work) and Anthony Leondis (who made Igor, and DreamWorks' unreleased B.O.O.: Bureau Of Otherworldly Operations). Leondis reportedly storyboarded the film in detail, leading to a bidding war breaking out between Sony Pictures animation, Warner Bros and Paramount.

As if they weren’t ubiquitous enough already, the Emojis, those colorful little icons found throughout social media communications as a particularly vivid way to articulate emotional reactions, are inexplicably getting their own movie. Because no idea is too silly or abstract for a Hollywood studio to develop the hell out of in hopes of coming up with something midway marketable.
Believe it or not, there was actually a three-studio auction over an animated movie pitch centering on the Emojis, involving Warner Bros., Paramount and Sony, but Sony ultimately swooped in and made an almost seven-figure deal. That’s right, people – Hollywood is so convinced that you’re dying to see a movie about cute little winky faces that major studios shelled out bucketloads for the rights to make it. Let that one sink in.

It seems that TBS is raising their ratings standards for their original sitcoms. After all, the cable channel has cancelled Men at Work and Sullivan & Son and, Cougar Town is ending. The ratings for Ground Floor weren't very strong last year so could it already be destined to be cancelled? How will the numbers be this time around -- good enough for the sitcom to earn a third season? Stay tuned.
Ground Floor follows the romantic relationship of a young hotshot banker (Skylar Astin) and a beautiful maintenance worker (Briga Heelan). The rest of the sitcom's cast includes Rory Scovel, Rene Gube, James Earl, Emily Heller, and John C. McGinley.

With a deadly designer drug at the centre of upcoming thriller, Urge, there’s a steady stream of talent coming aboard who may succumb to its effects. The latest addition to the cast is That ’70s Show star Danny Masterson.
The movie will revolve around a group of friends who jet off for an island adventure. Upon their arrival, they meet a drug designer who lures them into sampling his latest product. The twist here is that the side-effect (or the main effect, however you choose to look at it) of the pill causes people to lose their ability to control their urges. A bit like most drugs, then. Still, with Pierce Brosnan attached as the dodgy drug creator, here’s hoping we’ll get a brilliantly hammy villain who spews crazed soliloquys. Leading the group of friends into their doomed and/or enlightened druggy experience is Twilight‘s Ashley Greene.

The guys at the Full Steam magazine have been laid off. TBS has cancelled the Men at Work sitcom after three seasons.
Men at Work revolves around a group of four adult male friends who work together and help one other navigate through the pitfalls of relationships. The cast includes Adam Busch, Danny Masterson, James Lesure, Michael Cassidy, and Meredith Hagner.
The sitcom performed well for TBS when it debuted in 2012 but the ratings dropped over the course of the three seasons. The season (now series) finale, which aired in March, drew less than a million viewers.
Masterson broke the news via Twitter, writing, "Hey everyone great news!! @tbsveryfunny has decided to cancel @MenatWorkTBS. I guess we were too funny? Or maybe not funny enough. Kisses."

The last piece in TBS’ lineup has come together heading into the upfronts, with the network cancelling comedy series Men At Work after three seasons. It was one of two original TBS series left on the bubble. The other, Cougar Town, was renewed for a sixth and final season yesterday. "Men at Work" wrapped up its third season with a two-part, hour-long finale on Wednesday (March 12) and with it came many changes.
Tyler (Michael Cassidy) and Jude entered into a secret relationship, Neal (Adam Busch) found himself a new apartment, hurting Gibbs (James Lesure) along the way, and Milo (Danny Masterson) continued to feel left out -- wait, is this still a comedy?
Well, with the hour-long hilarity out of the way and Season 3 wrapped, the question stands: Does the show deserve a Season 4? Are their more hijinks left to be mined from this funny foursome? Or is it time for "Men at Work" to retire?
Make your voice heard in our poll below and sound off further in the comments!
Should TBS renew "Men at Work" for Season 4?...

In Wednesday's (Feb. 12) episode of "Men at Work," Milo (Danny Masterson) meets with a book publisher played by the stunning Jane Seymour. Naturally, someone winds up naked.
In a preview for the episode, entitled "Gigo-Milo," Seymour's spotted in her bra and panties, so chances are that play on "gigolo" in the title is a pretty good hint at just what lengths Milo will go go to for a publishing deal.
Seymour's not the only high-profile guest, though. Comedy legend Ed Asner also stops by as an intern hired by Neal (Adam Busch). That ought to go well.
Check out the preview above. "Men at Work" airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. Et/Pt on TBS.

TBS has given a pilot order to Your Family Or Mine, a multi-camera comedy from veteran comedy showrunner Greg Malins, Sony Pictures TV and Jamie Tarses’ studio-based Fanfare. The project, originally set up at ABC during the 2012-13 development season as a single-cam, is based on hit Israeli comedy series Your Family Or Mine? from leading Israeli broadcaster Keshet. Written by Friends and How I Met Your Mother alum Malins, the adaptation centers on Oliver and Kelli who are living proof of the adage “When you marry someone, you don’t just marry them, you marry their whole family.” It is a family comedy with an unusual structure — each episode focuses on a different side of the family: one week featuring the couple dealing with Kelli’s family, the next spent with Oliver’s. Your Family Or Mine?, created by Rubi Duanias, Yaniv Polishuk and produced by Teddy Prods., aired...

Friends or more than friends? (l-r: James Lesure, Danny Masterson, Michael Cassidy, Steve Brand)

The TBS sitcom Men At Work isn’t necessarily the gayest of sitcoms out there, but the show about four male friends dealing with life and love while working together at a magazine called “Full Steam” (which, hello, sounds pretty gay to me) features a storyline in tonight’s episode that shows how far we’ve come from the ‘special gay episode’ that was once a staple in sitcoms.
In tonight’s episode, Tyler (played by Michael Cassidy) has a new friend who his buddies/co-workers – Milo (Danny Masterson), Neal (Adam Busch) and Gibbs (James Lesure) – suspect may want more from Tyler than he realizes. However, instead of making the David Bennett character (played by Steve Brand) a predator, the guys, who all happen to be straight, blame Tyler for leading the guy on,...
