The new doc is directed and executive produced by first-time director but New York Times best-selling author and social commentator Tariq Nasheed, best known for his provocative and controversial yet insightful relationship advice books to mostly to men but also to women – such as The Mack Within, Play or Be Played, and the most recent The Elite Way – as well as the long-running and popular podcast The Mack Lessons Radio Show.
Though Nasheed’s relationship and ‘mack’ advice is universal, he always delves into history and the contributions of people from the African diaspora and how the knowledge of such will help any Black man or woman more aware of themselves, and thus a better contributor to the world. After...
