Eddie's comment: "..I'm beginning to understand why Stephen Fry fucked off", refers to the play "Cell Mates", where Rik Mayall's co-star Stephen Fry left mid-run in a fit of depression.

Goofs
Just after Eddie leaves the cell for his interview with Mr Big, Richie looks through the door's peep-hole. For a brief second, you can see the face of a stagehand before he ducks out of sight.

Quick! kill the parrot

I have to say i watched this live in cardiff november 1995 and i laughed so loud Rik & Ade shouted back at me! i find bottom so funny i was in absolutely hysterics as soon as the opening theme tune kicked in. However i would say this is possibly the weakest of the series but there is so much chaos and mayhem in the prison scene you just wont give a damn! Highlight of the show is when the audience applauded Eddies pet parrot, in which Ade edmondson replies "Thats right, give a piece of plasic a round of applause we've been F*****g working our b******S off! tears were running down my face at this point and then Edmondson started hurling abuse in my direction! but lucky for me he was taking the mick of the taff bloke behind me who had spilt his drink all over himself.
