- TriviaDouble-billed on re-release with "Invasion U.S.A."
- GoofsOn the night of Rob's wedding, he and Bram intervene when Gordon's men are about to kill Riddon, the leader of the Mutates, and set him free. Later, after Gordon overthrows the Norm leader, Rob and Bram escape and soon run into a group of Mutates led by Riddon, who says he remembers them because they gave him his life "a few days ago". In fact, as the events and time line in the film make clear, only a few hours had passed since their first encounter earlier that same night.
- Quotes
Mutate elder: Are we not flesh and blood? Do we not love and hate? Are we not born as you, die as you? Have we souls that are less than yours because our bodies are cursed? This frightful legacy of that dark century, when man loosed the terror of atomic destruction upon the world.

Groundbreaking post-Nuclear War picture
One of my sci-fi/horror/fantasy reviews written 50 years ago: Directed by Stuart Gilmore; Written and Produced by Jack Pollexfen and Aubrey Wisberg for Albert Zugsmith Productions. Released by RKO Radio Pictures. Photography by Paul Ivano; Edited by Fred Feitshans Junior; Music by Charles Koff; SPFX by Irving Block & Jack Rabin. Starring: Robert Clarke, Margaret Field, Gloria Saunders, Ron Randell, Stuart Randell and William Schallert.
An original post-Nuclear War opus. It's mutants versus the good guys as World War III's radioactive fallout has reduced mankind to a handful of survivors living in and around the New York subways, in this science fiction-horror combo, set in 3000 A. D.
