THE CAR appears out of nowhere. It wants nothing more than to terrorize and run over people. Why does THE CAR want to do this? Who cares? IT JUST DOES!!! A fun movie about a mysterious, black sedan with blood in it's black little chrome heart. Various members of small-town citizenry become road kill when THE CAR comes out to play. And don't try to box it in. THE CAR doesn't like that.
James Brolin is the cop who tries to find a way to stop this motorized menace. Kathleen Lloyd is his girlfriend -- who discovers THE CAR has zero tolerance for being taunted. Lots of other familiar character actors populate the movie, too.
