Kenney got his start in acting using his kickboxing experience but really from simply watching a special about an 11-year old actress with cancer that aired during a televised fight. He put together a video montage of all her films and a request for prayers for the little girl and circulated it on social media. It got back to her father, a casting director. The father asked Kenney to be in a fight scene of a movie that ended up being Miles To Go starring Christian Kane.
