There are many great shows in this world and many of them get canceled unjustly, and they don’t get to finish the story they were trying to tell what’s even sadder is that sometimes they end on a note that needs some type of resolution and if it’s a Netflix original series there is even a higher chance of that. So, today we are making a list of every Netflix original series that was canceled in 2024.
Obliterated (2023)

Obliterated will not be returning for a second season. Despite the series spending six weeks on Netflix's Top 10 list, the streamer has cancelled the action comedy. The show debuted on November 30th and ran for eight episodes.
Starring Nick Zano, Shelley Hennig, Terrence Terrell, Paola Lázaro, Kimi Rutledge, Eugene Kim, C. Thomas Howell, Alyson Gorske, and Carl Lumbly, the series follows an elite special forces team after they defuse a bomb in Las Vegas. They celebrate their accomplishment with lots of alcohol, drugs, and sex. Now, very much impaired, the team must overcome their issues and find the real bomb.

Netflix will not be moving forward with a second season of “Obliterated,” Variety has confirmed.
Hailing from “Cobra Kai” creators Jon Hurwitz, Hayden Schlossberg and Josh Heald, the comedy followed a special forces team who — after believing they’d thwarted a deadly threat to Las Vegas —celebrates their victory accordingly with a party filled with booze, drugs and sex only to discover that a bomb they deactivated was a fake. The now intoxicated team has to fight through their impairments, overcome their personal issues, find the real bomb and save the world.
Shelley Hennig, Nick Zano, Alyson Gorske, C. Thomas Howell, Eugene Kim, Paola Lázaro and Amalia Yoo star.
Hurwitz, Schlossberg and Heald executive produced “Obliterated” with Dina Hillier from Counterbalance Entertainment. Sony Pictures Television is the studio.
The news comes as Hurwitz and Heald recently teased that he and the team were back at work on the sixth and final season of “Cobra Kai.

Obliterated has lived up to its name. Netflix has opted not to proceed with a second season of the hourlong action-comedy series.
The cancellation comes as a little bit of a surprise as Obliterated spent a respectable six weeks in the Netflix Top 10 for English-language series following its Nov. 30 release, peaking at No.1 in Week 2. The streamer largely bases its renewal decisions on analyzing viewing vs. cost.

The hits don’t stop for Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg, the trio behind Cobra Kai and most recently, Netflix’s latest No. 1 hit, Obliterated.
Obliterated is a return to the trio’s roots which began with raunchy comedies like Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle (2004) and its follow-ups Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay (2008), Harold & Kumar Go to Amsterdam (2008) and A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas (2011); American Reunion (2012); Blockers (2018); and Hot Tub Time Machine (2010), among others.
The new 8-episode Netflix series, currently available to stream in its entirety, follows an elite joint-special operations team assembled from various branches of the U.S. Armed Forces and intelligence services to stop a deadly terrorist network from blowing up Las Vegas. Obliterated stars Nick Zano, Shelley Hennig, Terrence Terrell, Paola Lázaro, C. Thomas Howell and Eugene Kim.

Jon Hurwitz, Hayden Schlossberg and Josh Heald initially set out to write Obliterated as a feature film. But the creators of Netflix’s latest action comedy changed their minds. They felt their ensemble cast of characters would be best served in a series where they would have time to explore each one in depth, and be able to give each character their own adventure.
The result is the eight-episode series now streaming on Netflix, which follows an elite special forces team — made up of an ensemble cast led by Nick Zano and Shelley Hennig — who wake up with a massive hangover and attempt to break up a deal for a nuclear weapon that could obliterate Las Vegas. Terrence Terrell, Paola Lázaro, Kimi Rutledge, Eugene Kim, C. Thomas Howell, Alyson Gorske and Carl Lumbly round out the cast.

Plot: Obliterated is a high octane action-comedy from the creators of Cobra Kai that tells the story of an elite special forces team who thwarts a deadly threat to Las Vegas. Review: When an elite team of special forces, commandos, and spies team up to save the day, that is usually the end of the story. The credits typically roll on a happy ending once the bad guy is killed and the world is saved. The new series Obliterated looks at what happens when that celebration is premature in a blend of the team action of The A-Team with the drug and alcohol-fueled excess of The Hangover.

Especially in its early installments, 24 used to build in a midseason pause. Jack Bauer would achieve what he thought was his goal — securing the bomb, identifying the conspiratorial kingpin, etc. — and then, after enough time to take a breath but not enough time to use the bathroom, he would discover a Bigger bomb or realize that behind the apparently Big Bad was a Bigger Bad. Gasp!
But what if, instead of merely taking that breath, Jack Bauer had celebrated securing yet another victory for America by doing the keg stand to end all keg stands or dropping a tab of acid — and only then figured out that he still had half a day’s worth of torture, cliffhangers and mountain lions in store?
That — or perhaps just “It’s The Hangover as a ’90s action movie!” — is the hook for Netflix’s new series Obliterated, from the Cobra Kai trio of Jon Hurwitz,...

People say, “what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas,” but what if what’s happening is a five-kiloton nuclear bomb and the team sent to disarm it is hungover to all hell? Welcome to Netflix‘s Obliterated trailer, featuring a misfit band of elite soldiers who, after saving the day, party like Prince told them to party like it’s 1999. The only problem is the bomb they deactivated is a fake, and the actual explosive is armed and ready to blow if they don’t get their sh*t together.

What if the team behind Netflix's Cobra Kai – that would be Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg – turned their talents to something along the lines of Team America? Not with puppets, but with people. The result is Obliterated, which is headed to the streaming service in November and has a trailer online.
Here's the synopsis for the series: "an elite special forces team thwarts a deadly threat to Las Vegas. After their celebratory party, filled with booze, drugs and sex, the team discovers that the bomb they deactivated was a fake. The now intoxicated team has to fight through their impairments, overcome their personal issues, find the real bomb, and save the world."
The likes of Shelley Hennig, Nick Zano, C. Thomas Howell, Kimi Rutledge, Paola Lázaro, Terrence Terrell, Alyson Gorske and Eugene Kim are in the cast, and Obliterated is counting down to its launch on Netflix on 30 November.

Netflix is promising a wild night thanks to the first trailer for “Obliterated,” the latest show from “Cobra Kai” creators Jon Hurwitz, Hayden Schlossberg and Josh Heald. All eight of the hourlong episodes will be able to stream starting November 30.
Described as a high octane Vegas adventure, “Obliterated” follows an elite special forces team that thwarts a deadly threat to Las Vegas. At least, that’s what they think. As they’re halfway through their celebratory binge, they learn the bomb they disarmed was actually a decoy. Now high and drunk, this team has to find and deactivate the real bomb or else Vegas will blow sky high. Think live-action “Archer” with a Netflix budget.
“Even though I’m half drunk and he is fully drunk and high, we’re the only people on the planet who can keep it from getting blown to hell,” Shelley Hennig as Ava Winters says in the trailer.

Netflix has released the first trailer for its upcoming action comedy Obliterated, which hails from the creators of megahit Cobra Kai.
The wild and fast-paced trailer is a two-minute tease that asks what it would be like if 24 and The Hangover crossed over. Starring Nick Zano and Shelley Hennig, the eight-episode series follows an elite special forces team after they believe they’ve saved the world from a nuclear bomb threat.
But upon waking up — and with a nasty hangover, no less — the team receives a call that the threat they neutralized was a fake and they have only hours to find and thwart the real one. The problem is, much of the team hasn’t quite sobered up, meaning they must fight through a wall of bad guys, their own personal issues and a few substance impairments to locate the real bomb and save the day.

Some days, you just can’t get rid of a bomb. In Netflix‘s Obliterated, a team of decorated soldiers find themselves on the business end of a nasty hangover while trying to stop an impending disaster. HBO has secured another ratings hit with their new video game adaptation “The Last of Us,” and while it’s as exciting and epic as the original video game, it also has the distinction of having a Latino leading man. Chilean actor Pedro Pascal plays the protagonist Joel, who is tasked with trekking across the horrific landscape to help find a cure with young Ellie in tow.
With a Latino actor leading such a massive hit for the horror genre, it got us thinking about other great Latino Horror Heroes from pop culture. Here are five of our favorites.
Pablo Simon Bolivar – Ash vs. Evil Dead
Pablo (Ray Santiago) is an Ash fan boy when we first meet him, referring to him as “El Jefe” with admiration. When he’s pulled into the war against the Deadites, the seemingly non-threatening blue collar worker becomes a vicious foe against evil, even...

Killer Collectibles highlights five of the most exciting new horror products released each and every week, from toys and apparel to artwork, records, and much more.
Here are the coolest horror collectibles unveiled this week!
Universal Monsters Bobbleheads from Neca
Neca will add four Universal Monsters to its Head Knockers line of bobbleheads in August. Priced at 34.99, Dracula, Frankenstein, Bride of Dracula, and The Wolf Man are made of hand-painted resin and stand 8″ tall.
The sculpts are pretty fun on these, although I’m not sure why the necks are comically long when Neca’s other bobbleheads don’t have that issue. The prototypes are pictured, so maybe they’ll iron that out before production.
B’Twixt Now and Sunrise: The Authentic Cut Blu-ray from Lionsgate
2011’s Twixt was an ambitious, if flawed, Gothic horror film from the great Francis Ford Coppola that failed to land with critics and audiences alike.

The end is almost here. The Walking Dead, the show that wanted to live forever, is now coming to a close…sort of. Though the series based on Robert Kirkman’s long-running zombie comic of the same name is airing its series finale on Nov. 20, the franchise itself will carry on in the form of numerous spinoffs.
Still, spinoffs or no, this is a fairly big moment in genre TV history. First premiering on Halloween night 2010, The Walking Dead was an instant ratings success for AMC and remained as such for much of its 11 seasons. It helped usher in a new era of fandom-friendly television for its network (which was coming off big prestige hits like Mad Men and Breaking Bad) and helped bring zombies back into the mainstream. With the 24th episode of its 11th season, The Walking Dead will finally be calling it quits.

The Walking Dead Season 11 Episode 20
One of the hallmarks of The Walking Dead has been a pretty strong ethos of community survival. No man is an island, and one of the things real-life disaster preppers mention is that forming a community of people with different skills and similar values is an invaluable part of continuing on past the fall of mankind. The cold open of this week’s episode makes that abundantly clear; from scenes of Carol getting rescued by Daryl in the early days to Carol leading a one-woman assault on Terminus in “No Sanctuary”, having friends has always been the key to surviving the stickiest of situations. Now, those friends who are willing to put their lives on the line for people like Yumiko (Eleanor Matsuura) and Carol (Melissa McBride) need someone to do the same for them, but it’s...

The Walking Dead Season 11 Episode 19
The opening montage of this week’s The Walking Dead asks an important question of both its survivors and the audience: does it take more courage to live than to die in this environment? It’s underscored by a montage of Eugene (Josh McDermitt) and his lower moments, from begging Abraham (Michael Cudlitz in flashback form) to save his life to joining up with Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) during the Savior days. Eugene has never had the courage to die, but he’s always been able to find a way to live, thanks in no small part to his talent in prevarication (Aka lying) when needs must. Now, Eugene faces his hardest challenge to date. Will he flee to safety with Daryl (Norman Reedus), Rosita (Christian Serratos), and the rest of his friends, or will he stay behind...

Welcome to a brand new beginning! At the Walking Dead panel at this weekend’s New York Comic Con, attendees were treated to an early look at the upcoming Walking Dead spinoff, Dead City.
Dead City will focus on the characters of Maggie and Neehan, played by Lauren Cohan and Jeffrey Dean Morgan, respectively. The series will find the two “traveling into a post-apocalyptic Manhattan long ago cut off from the mainland. The crumbling city is filled with the dead and denizens who have made New York City their own world full of anarchy, danger, beauty, and terror.”

After eleven seasons and more than a decade on air, AMC‘s The Walking Dead is finally coming to a close. As such, the panel at New York Comic-Con 2022, moderated by longtime series host Chris Hardwick, was also the last for the series. Norman Reedus, Lauren Cohan, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Lauren Ridloff, Eleanor Matsuura, Michael James Shaw, and Paola Lazaro took to the stage this year alongside Hardwick and Twd‘s former writer/showrunner Scott Gimple. Besides talking about the final episodes, which began airing October 2, 2022, the cast shared their most fond memory of being part of The Walking Dead family, its impact, as well as upcoming spinoffs coming from the franchise, including Dead City and the standalone Daryl series. The Walking Dead continues to switch things up as we approach the finish line.
The Walking Dead Season 11 Episode 15 was a nail-biting installment that delved deeper into the Commonwealth's lies and deceit.
If you watch The Walking Dead online, you know Princess (Paola Lázaro) has been a big part of the recent events.
Her relationship with Mercer has been one of the brightest spots of the show, and Paola revealed to TV Fanatic that she loves how these two characters let each other's walls down.
"I think Princess can see that there's more to Mercer behind that armor," the star shared, adding that she enjoys that Mercer can see there's more to Princess than meets the eye.
The pair have really connected on a level that many didn't think possible, and Paola likes to see these two characters come together under such circumstances.

The road to the finish line continues on The Walking Dead Season 11 Part II, premiering on February 20 on AMC.
TV Fanatic got the chance to catch up with Khary Payton (Ezekiel), Lauren Ridloff (Connie), and Paola Lázaro (Princess) about what's ahead as the long-running drama prepares for the end.
The Walking Dead Season 11 Episode 8 wrapped with Alexandria in peril due to bad weather and an influx of walkers.
When the show returns, things will shift considerably thanks to the increased prominence of The Commonwealth.
"It's funny how the Commonwealth incorporates people into things," Khary shared, adding that the characters essentially go back to the way life was pre-apocalypse.
"They negate anything that you learned in the apocalypse. They want you to kind of forget the lessons that you've learned in how to survive," Khary continues.
"Ezekiel goes back to a remedial animal control job," Payton continues, adding that it's more...

The Walking Dead has served up its share of infuriatingly repugnant characters over its 11 long years on AMC. Indeed, the show’s devoted audience is quite accustomed to seeing insufferable asshats torment and/or kill beloved characters, creating an empty, sour return on emotional investment.
But the show is saving the worst for last. Robert Kirkman and Charlie Adlard’s most infuriating creation of all, Sebastian Milton, is about to make his TV debut in this week’s episode. And the prospect of collectively raised blood pressure might prove to be a good thing for the series as it heads to its 2022 finish line.
Teo Rapp-Olsson has been unveiled as The Walking Dead’s on-screen rendition of Sebastian Milton, ending speculation about the character’s presence on the series—long expected as it may have been. The debut occurs in Season 11, Episode 7, titled “Promises Broken,” to which premium-paying AMC+ customers already have advance access.

Though the ratings have dropped quite a bit, The Walking Dead has remained the highest-rated scripted series on AMC. Now, it's been decided that there won't be a 12th season but spin-offs are in the works. Will the cable channel execs regret the decision to end the original show? Could the original Walking Dead series return someday? Stay tuned.
