Sallieu Sesay is a Sierra Leonean / American actor. Who appeared at The Berlinale 73rd Annual Film Festival in John Trengove's nihilistic thriller Manodrome alongside Jesse Eisenberg. He has recurred on CBS' Seal Team, recurred on HBO's Barry, was featured in Tyler Perry's All The Queens men and Won Best Supporting Actor at the Queen Palms Film Festival for his portrayal of Snapper in Bloodhound Disciple.
Both John Trengove and Jesse Eisenberg referred to his depiction of Ahmet as "mesmerizing, and really sweet and scary at the same time". John echoed that, "yes, mesmerizing is a good word".
Gina Gammell of Felix Culpa, the production company behind Manodrome, expressed that she knew immediately while watching the self tape that Sallieu was the perfect person for the role of Ahmet.
Sallieu is the oldest of three children and immigrated to the United States when he was three years old. His mother is a nurse in Seattle, and he followed in her footsteps by graduating with a degree in Bachelors Degree in the Science of Nursing from Washington State University. While at university, he was cast in the play "The Laramie Project" and went on to earn a minor in Theatre.
Sallieu brings an unlimited amount of focus and dedication to his craft as an actor, and since arriving in Los Angeles, he has continued training with some of the best acting teachers and coaches in the industry.
