Travis Cody, a native of Monroe, Utah, has been entertaining people since the the age of five when he first appeared in a local theater production. (Although he doesn't remember it, his mother assures him that he played his role as "Chicken #1" to perfection.)
Since then, he's gone on to perform on stages around the world including the world famous Comedy Store in West Hollywood.
A natural-born writer, he wrote his first book at the age of 12. He was a paid journalist by the age of 16. He sold his first screenplay to Jonathan D. Krane at the age of 27. And he's published nearly two dozen books, countless screenplays and two television series.
In 2003, he was hired as a screenwriter on staff at The Krane Company. By 2006 he was running Krane's Writers Room as Head Writer.
In 2009 he was promoted to Vice President of Film and Television Development for The Krane Company, where he served until Krane's untimely death in 2016.
He's the founder of The Outrage Festival, a comedy festival that has been hailed as "A Safe Space for Comedians," which is slated to launch in Las Vegas later this year.
The Outrage Festival was created to help the Comedy Industry course-correct and get back to when Comedians were able to say outrageous and controversial things.
Travis is also the Founder of the "Writers Room", one of the fastest growing online communities for writers in the world.
