If there’s one thing Haunt proves, it’s that sometimes the simplest premises deliver the most spine-chilling results. Directed by A Quiet Place writers Scott Beck and Bryan Woods, this easiy over-looked 2019 horror gem takes the familiar concept of a haunted house and turns it into a blood-soaked exercise in terror, one that plays as much on the fears within as it does on physical dangers lurking around every corner.
Katie Stevens stars as Harper, a college student whose Halloween night starts with an effort to escape her toxic relationship and ends up with a trip through the bowels of one of horror’s most extreme haunted houses. Coaxed into joining her friends on a detour from the usual revelries, Harper, her roommate Bailey (Lauryn Alisa McClain), and four other friends take their chances at a remote haunt. Lured in by a disturbingly silent clown masked attendant who insists...

“Emily in Paris” Season 4 delivered just the right amount of chaos, high fashion and whimsy we needed as the summer comes to a close.
But, with just five episodes in Season 4 Part 1, this season of the Netflix drama is ready to be binged in mere hours. Luckily, Part 2, which will include the latter five episodes of Season 4, will return on Sept. 12.
In the meantime, “Emily in Paris” creator Darren Star has plenty of lighter fare shows full of great fashion from “Sex and the City” — and its later offshoot “The Carrie Dairies” — to “Younger.” If you watch the Lily Collins-lead series for escapism, campy comedies like “Dollface” or “Drop Dead Diva” might also scratch the whimsical itch.
Keep on reading for the seven shows like “Emily in Paris” you should watch while you wait for Part 2 to drop.

Emily in Paris became one of Netflix’s biggest hit series upon its release but I think it was also one of the most hated shows. Created by Darren Star, the romantic-comedy series stars Lily Collins as the title character, and the series is filled with stunning scenery, glamorous fashion moments, and beautiful and delicious-looking food. The first part of Emily in Paris Season 4 was recently released on Netflix with Part 2 coming out in September this year. So, if you loved all the glamour, romance, comedy, and drama in Emily in Paris here are some similar shows you should check out while waiting for Emily in Paris Season 4 Part 2.

‘Faking It’ Trio Honors the Trailblazing Show’s 10th Anniversary: ‘It Was a Show That People Needed’
Katie Stevens, Rita Volk, and Carter Covington need a minute. Before they can get to the task at hand, the two stars of MTV’s Faking It and their executive producer need time to catch up. As they each pop up in their respective Zoom windows, you can tell it has been a minute since they have seen each other. The smiles are uncontrollable. The laughter is already contagious. The love is real, even a decade later. The trio hopped on a call with TV Insider to reminisce about their trailblazing series in honor of its 10th anniversary. Even they can’t believe it has been a decade. Premiering on April 22, 2014, Faking It tells the story of Amy (Volk) and Karma (Stevens), two best friends who get mistaken for a lesbian couple in their progressive Texas high school and decide to go with it when they realize it might be...

The millennial women-led series is dead. Long live the millennials.
It wasn’t exactly surprising when Freeform’s beloved critically acclaimed “Single Drunk Female” was canceled this month after just two seasons and immediately pulled from Hulu. Sure, Freeform touted the sitcom as the highest-rated original comedy during the New York City Season 2 premiere before the series returned with all new episodes on Hulu in April. But its cancellation is just one of the many reminders that networks don’t invest long-term in women-fronted shows that focus on “messy” millennial women.
While we pour one out for “Single Drunk Female,” it’s best to trace the series back to its roots with Lena Dunham and executive producer Jenni Konner’s explosively disruptive HBO series “Girls,” which celebrated its 10-year anniversary in 2022. After that massive hit, why has TV abandoned the generation of people who grew up watching “Girls”?

The turn-of-the-century holds down a special spot in pop culture and Hollywood’s big screen. Some of the most popular movies remain hits, especially those aimed at teens. Amongst the list of ’90s classics was, of course, Cruel Intentions. The 1999 movie was so well-received that a sequel was set in motion. But Cruel Intentions 2 was really supposed to be a TV show.

Extreme haunts aren’t for the faint of heart. Over the years, these gonzo attractions have developed a reputation for roughing up their brave visitors and subjecting them to disgusting and depraved acts. From eating cockroaches to being nailed shut in a coffin, guests are practically tortured before they can exit. Yet despite their notorious practices, an extreme haunt obviously isn’t going to kill anyone, no matter how real or dangerous everything might seem, or how far they go with a scenario. That’s of course where horror movies take over; they defy reality and fulfill the audience’s expectations. And like those that came before it, Haunt wants to make sure its patrons have a hell of a story to tell — so long as they can make it out alive.

When you first started talking about this episode, how much had you discussed? All of it? Pieces? Anthony Zuiker: We knew the whole caboodle. Marg and I met three or four months prior to writing it. HGTV’s sister Food Network has also completed production on two holiday movies that showcase their personalities, having entered the Christmas movie business last year with Candy Coated Christmas.
Farr will guest star in Designing Christmas, which stars Jessica Szohr as an interior designer who has chemistry — but never acted on it — with her contractor cohort (Marco Grazzini) on their home renovation show. Farr plays Stella’s mentor Freddy.

CSI: Vegas was dealt a king and a queen in its hand last season with the return of original cast favorites William Petersen and Jorja Fox. Now, following their exit, the reboot pulls an ace by bringing back Marg Helgenberger as Catherine Willows — blood spatter expert, former stripper, and all-around badass. “She gets wind of some illicit dealings at the Eclipse,” executive producer Jason Tracey says of the casino Catherine’s crooked father built. “Harm has befallen some of her friends. Enemies have been made.” Bonus: Hers isn’t the only familiar face we see in Season 2. For one, Katie Stevens, aka Catherine’s daughter Lindsey, appears in a spotlight episode written for Helgenberger by series creator Anthony E. Zuiker. “It’s always fun to catch up with CSI legends,” Tracey teases. But first, the legendary Helgenberger tells us more. What were those early talks like? Marg Helgenberger: The first season,...

After the U.S. Supreme Court on Wednesday night denied a request to issue emergency relief blocking Texas’ new law that bans abortion at six weeks and, say opponents, effectively eliminates access to abortions statewide, some big names in entertainment expressed their opinions about the legislation.
A group of prominent actors, musicians and other artists and companies swiftly responded to the news on social media. Reese Witherspoon, Alyssa Milano, Dua Lipa, Kerry Washington, St. Vincent, Eva Longoria Baston, Bad Robot and P!nk were among them. Many shared an image with the text, “I stand in solidarity with Texans & people everywhere seeking reproductive freedom.” The full list of the celebrities who support that sentiment is below; the vast majority of the signatories are women.
Washington also shared a link to a Planned Parenthood petition which, among other things, maintains that “health care — including safe, legal abortion — is a human right.

The doors to the Scarlet fashion closet have officially been bolted — though hopefully not permanently — as “The Bold Type” aired its series finale on Wednesday. And as series finales go, it really stuck the landing. Fans were overwhelmingly content with how things ended, and for Katie Stevens, who played Jane for the series’ entire five-season run, that’s no small accomplishment.
“I think we all just kind of hoped that people would love it, and that people would be happy with how it ended, because we were happy with how it ended,” Stevens tells TheWrap.
Indeed, in the final episode of the series Kat (Aisha Dee), Sutton (Meghann Fahy) and Jane (Stevens) all got their happy endings — surprising as they might’ve been. Sutton and Richard ended up together with no plans to have a kid, Kat ended up with Adena (Nikohl Boosheri) and became editor-in-chief of Scarlet, and Jane...

Spoiler Alert: Do not read if you have not yet watched the series finale of “The Bold Type,” which aired June 30 on Freeform.
Endings are hard. The penultimate season of “The Bold Type” — cut short by the pandemic — left Sutton Brady (Meghann Fahy) and Richard Hunter (Sam Page) in a difficult spot, disagreeing fundamentally on whether each wanted children following Sutton’s miscarriage. The final season appeared to be continuing down that path, with divorce on the table. But in the end, the fans got what they wanted.
“Yes, I always wanted kids,” Richard tells Sutton. “But I want you more.”
That conclusion almost didn’t happen, though.
“What ended up happening with Sutton’s storyline at the end — they rewrote it the night before we shot it,” Fahy told Variety in a Zoom interview alongside co-stars Katie Stevens and Aisha Dee, who play Jane Sloan and Kat Edison, respectively.

It's been a long, fashionable road for The Bold Type. After five seasons, the beloved Freeform dramedy is about to come to an end, but not without another hour full of fancy outfits, career milestones and friendship moments that are going to make us seriously miss our favorite fashion closet trio. While the end will hopefully be bright and sunny for Jane (Katie Stevens), Kat (Aisha Dee) and Sutton (Meghann Fahy), the journey so far has been filled with a lot of ups and a similar number of downs. As many times as we've cried and cheered while watching the show, we've also cringed and almost turned off the TV, because not even the trio escaped early adulthood without making a few really,...

The stories of Jane Sloan, Kat Edison and Sutton Brady will soon come to a close as Freeform’s The Bold Type nears its series finale. Before the final chapters, stars Katie Stevens, Aisha Dee and Meghann Fahy reunited to reflect on their on-screen and off-screen journeys for Atx Television Festival.
“I’m filled with so much gratitude that we got to do five seasons of a show,” Dee said during the Saturday panel. “Things end when they’re supposed to. Our job as humans is to go with the flow, so we’ll just go with the flow.”
Joined by showrunner Wendy Straker Hauser, and co-stars Melora Hardin and Stephen Conrad Moore, the stars reveled in the final moments with their Bold Type family. During an Atx reunion panel celebrating his trailblazing MTV series Faking It, showrunner and executive producer Carter Covington expressed the opinion that the show would be much trickier to get off the ground today than it was just seven or so years ago.
“I do think [today] our original premise probably would have been blasted out before the show even aired,” he said. “It was a challenging premise. We all knew it would get attention.”
In his appearance on the panel alongside Covington, actor Michael J. Willett agreed that the initial conceit was tricky. “I think the idea had the potential to be very insensitive,” said the actor, who played Shane. At the same time, he said that the show is that much more commendable because of the risks it took, and the way in which tricky subject matter was approached. “I think that it was very masterful of Carter and...

Its been five glorious seasons of outrageous work dilemmas, complicated relationship drama, and inspiring lessons of ride-or-die friendship - but all good things must come to an end. After showing us the very relatable joys and struggles of being a twenty-something millennial woman, The Bold Type is sadly saying goodbye with the series finale on June 30.
Ahead of the final episode, we virtually sat down with the show's stars - Katie Stevens (Jane Sloan), Aisha Dee (Kat Edison), and Meghann Fahy (Sutton Brady) - as we quizzed them on everything from which of their characters they'd most likely go to for dating advice . . .
. . . to which character would be most likely to convince them to do something spontaneous.
Along the way, we also learned that one of those spontaneous activities includes getting a group end-of-the-series tattoo together.

Is that you, Jan Levinson? On Tuesday, June 8, Freeform released a new sneak peek from the June 9 episode of The Bold Type. And we have a feeling this preview will have fans of The Office excited as it features a perfectly planted Easter egg. In the new scene, Scarlet magazine editor-in-chief Jacqueline Carlyle (Melora Hardin) is seen holding a cup of coffee while chatting with journalist Jane Sloan (Katie Stevens). What's so special about this coffee mug? Well, it reads, "Dunder Mifflin." Of course, Dunder Mifflin was the paper company where Michael Scott (Steve Carell) and his team worked on the popular NBC comedy. As fans of The Office well know, Melora played Jan,...

Warning: Spoilers ahead for episode two of the final season of “The Bold Type”
To say that Sutton Brady-Hunter is going through it in the first few episodes of the final season of “The Bold Type” would be an understatement. And with Wednesday’s episode making it official that she will no longer be Brady-Hunter, but just Brady, it’s easy to worry even more about our girl. But here’s the good news: Meghann Fahy says Sutton will be working through things in a healthier way.
In reality, Fahy has known Sutton and Richard’s divorce was coming for a while now. It’s something that she says she and Sam Page were very vocal about, in terms of how to handle everything. Even so, she was a bit surprised by the decision.

“The Bold Type,” which airs its fifth and final season premiere Wednesday night, might not have ever happened if it weren’t for Katy Perry. Former Cosmopolitan editor-in-chief Joanna Coles recalls the genesis of the series, inspired by her life at the top of the masthead, as stemming from a cover shoot with the pop singer years ago.
“It had gone really well. The one thing we asked her not to do was to Instagram anything from the shoot, because the pictures wouldn’t be out for another six weeks on the cover of Cosmo,” Coles recalls. “She promised she wouldn’t, and we all left feeling very high after the shoot. Within 20 minutes, she had posted the exact picture that we were going to use on the cover. I was beside myself. We couldn’t use the best picture because it had already been out there.”
