Rolexis "Delaney" Schinsing is an actor, writer, model and makeup artist who was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. Coming from a lineage of performers, entertainment runs through her veins. She is the granddaughter of the legendary Chuck Carbo, lead singer for The Spiders and hit recording artist who was signed with Imperial Records and Atlantic Records.
Rolexis first stepped into her own spotlight at only five years of age when she began tap dancing for crowds in the New Orleans French Quarter. In her teenage years, she transitioned to the stage and was cast in lead roles. These performances not only gave her valuable experience but also a source of pride knowing that she was pursuing her passion and making others around her smile and laugh. Rolexis built upon her natural skill set and went on to pursue formal training. She attended the University of Arkansas where she studied psychology and performing arts, and she enrolled in acting workshops taught by industry veterans to further hone her craft.
Rolexis' talent led to booking principal roles in regional and national commercials, print ads, and a recurring role on the HBO series "Treme," among her many credits. She was most recently seen on Season 2 of BYUtv's award-winning show "Relative Race" and on the OWN series "Queen Sugar," executive produced by Oprah Winfrey. Rolexis is thrilled to have a thriving career in the industry she loves, and she gives back to the community through speaking engagements encouraging others to reach for their dreams. Rolexis lives by the motto: "God first; everything else second."
