Enrique Sapene is a bankable entity in the fields of Acting, Producing and Television Hosting. His versatility has earned him constant recognition as a true and rare talent.
From an early age, he began his career as the face of several national commercial campaigns in Venezuela. His studies led him to Paris, France, where he expanded his talents as a Model into the field of Print. Since arriving in the United States, he has entertained audiences internationally as a reporter on Univision Network's CONTROL, a widely popular magazine program. He has garnered co-hosting credits with Carmen Electra on the television series LIVIN' LARGE, and contributed national news reports for Univision and from the Sundance Film Festival as on-air correspondent for Telemundo Network where he also played the Role of Nicolas King on their very successful telenovela EL ALMA HERIDA.
Enrique also produced and co-hosted STYLEYES MIAMI for SITV, where he worked with Queer Eye's Jai Rodriguez and Victoria Secrets Super Model Ines Rivero. In 2010 he acted as a series regular in Univision's Soap-Opera PECADORA sharing the screen with telenovela stars like Fernando Capetillo, Litzy and Silvana Arias who played Enrique's love interest on the show. He also became part of the cast, as a regular, on the syndicated telenovela show "HACIENDA HEIGHTS" next to Steven Bauer and Julio Iglesias Jr. Hacienda is the first of its kind to be shot in both English and Spanish and Sapene plays Nicholas, the controversial mayor's (Bauer) right hand and nephew. The show aired on ION/NBC in English and the Spanish version aired on MEGA TV nationally in the US.
In cinema, Sapene's impeccable instincts as an actor have landed him coveted roles in such films as "THE LAST MOUNTAIN" (an official selection of the Sundance Film Festival), and "MOTHERS AND DAUGHTERS" for Showtime. Enrique was a producer on the award-winning short film "OLD FRIENDS", which screened at the Berlin Film Festival. Sapene also was cast in the feature film TONY TANGO that was released in 2015. His film "10 BUCK-BATON" opened to raving reviews at the New York Latino International Film Festival in 2013 winning the award for audiences favorite and it was also screened at the Atlanta Film Festival 2013.
Enrique is no stranger to the world of Theater, having joined the Classical Theater Academy Group of California in 2002. He performed the lead role of Orlando in Shakespeare's "AS YOU LIKE IT" for many months in Hollywood and shared the stage with Ugly Betty's America Ferrera in the Paramount Pictures theater production of "OLIVER TWIST" for the California Youth Theater.
On the summers of 2013 and 2014 Enrique traveled along the Coast of California with the press team and content creators for the Aids Lifecycle, covering this event for Univision Networks nationally as a producer (News pieces), blogger and host. He also starred in the films "SLAMMED" and "RETURN TO BABYLON", next to Jennifer Tilly, Maria Conchita Alonso and Ione Sky. Shortly after finalized shooting the movie for television "Fighter's Chance" next to boxing legend Evander Hollifield.
In the summer of 2014 Enrique joined Entertainment Tonight's veteran producer and director Canaan Rubin to produce and co-host next to Victoria Recano (ET, The Insider) on "THE TREND" a fashion and lifestyle show that aired as a segment on the Wendy Williams Show and on Zappos Couture's very popular platforms online.
He also executive produced an original idea for an un-scripted pilot which sold to TRUtv in collaboration with Legendary Picture's Asylum Entertainment. These project under the umbrella of his company SAPENE STUDIOS.
He recurred on the Amazon Prime series "BORDERLINE" and his Telenovela "TOMAME O DEJAME" sold in 13 countries including the US. Sapene was also hired by the producing company of TOD (VIP 2000) to pen the script for the adaptation in English of the series which is already committed to pilot and will start shooting on the first quarter of 2017 in Puerto Rico and it's being financed independently.
Enrique can also be seen on the role of Carlos on the series "ESCANDALOS" (Scandals) for Azteca America in the US and he appeared on two episodes of JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE for ABC as a foreign correspondent journalist playing pranks on the shows guests in 2015.
Sapene is also part of the cast of the WEtv docu-series "MY LIFE IS A TELENOVELA" that follows a group of Telenovela Stars in the competitive world of Latino Hollywood and additionally on the Telemundo Telenovela "EVA LA TRAILERA" in the controversial role of the villain Ramon Estevez.
