Jason J. Wang is best know for hosting 'Jason's Table' on TaiwanPlus and for 'MasterChef on FOX Season 8' and lives, works, and travels nationally and internationally as a professional celebrity chef, television host, TV personality, foodie (food personality), traveling culinary artist, and culinary instructor/educator.
Born and raised in the Boston area by East Asian parents who immigrated from Taiwan and China, Jason is best known for his modern, nature-inspired plated, inventive and very innovative creations that fuse Western techniques with fresh East Asian-themed flavors, combining elements, components and ingredients of his New England upbringing with the flavors, seasonings, and cooking techniques of his East Asian heritage/roots. In September 2017, Jason was the co-Runner-Up on the FOX Network's 'MasterChef US' Season 8 hosted by celebrity chefs Gordon Ramsay, Aarón Sánchez, and Christina Tosi, with guest judge Joe Bastianich in the 2-part finale. Judges made special note of Jason's innovative flavors, artistic presentations that looked visually spectacular and vibrant, experimental masterpiece concepts, featuring groundbreaking works of art that looked stunning, tasting delicious, and commended him for bringing an important global food awareness to American audiences.
