William Wages ASC began his career shooting commercials and
documentaries all over the world with subjects including Jordan's King
Hussein, Peruvian Paso horses, and Cocaine Addiction in the US. He
continued into features ("Iron Will" and Maya Angelou's "Down In The
Delta") and television (the final season of "Revolution", three seasons
of "Burn Notice", and the Spielberg-produced mini-series "Into The
West".) He has won three ASC awards and been nominated for six
additional ASC awards and two Emmy awards. Wages has developed a number
of tools that contribute to his on-set efficiency and flexibility,
including Tiffen Glimmerglass diffusion filters and two flagging
devices named by his crew WagFlags and WagBags. Wages continues to live
in Atlanta, GA where he was born and raised.
